Nice big pool and friendly staff. The place is nice and the rooms are fresh and clean. The train is very loud in some of the rooms but we were offered a room in the bigger house next door if that was a dealbreaker. The general vibe of the hotel is very nice and has a beautiful garden.

We had a truly lovely stay at Agape Resorts and can highly recommend it. The property is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden, and the pool area is especially pleasant - a perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent, and we appreciated having reliable hot water and air conditioning, which made our stay even more comfortable, especially during warmer days. Everything we needed was provided, and the room was well maintained throughout our visit.

What really made our stay special was the hospitality. The hosts are exceptionally kind, caring, and always willing to help in any way possible. During our stay, we experienced some health issues, and we were incredibly fortunate that the host is also a doctor. Thanks to his professional knowledge and quick assistance, we were able to recover fast and continue enjoying our vacation with peace of mind. This level of care and attention is truly rare and deeply appreciated.

The location of the resort is also very convenient. The beach and train station are within easy walking distance, and there are several good restaurants nearby. A lovely lake is also close, offering nice opportunities for kayaking and relaxation.

Overall, Agape Resort offers a perfect combination of comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We would happily return and warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.

The place is quite nice. In the nature, not too far from Kabalana beach. The rooms are also nice but not big.

Very good staff, taking care of every detail. The owner is nice, you can talk to him, he told us where we can buy souvenirs. Beautiful, well-kept hotel with beautiful pool. Close to public transport that will take you everywhere

This resort is the best place to stay in the whole of Sri Lanka! It is so comfortable with an amazing pool and lovely rooms. All the staff are so kind and attentive. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Me and my friend stayed here for just under a month and had the most incredible time! The staff go above and beyond to make you feel as welcome and at home as possible. The whole place has a calm and positive feel with lots of green space to explore and a perfect pool! Additionally the rooms are really clean and comfortable.

The kindness of the people working here and the safe relaxed vibe made me never want to leave, thank you for such an amazing stay ☺️

Agape is paradise, everyone who works there are the friendliest and most accommodating people you could ever meet! The room, garden and pool were idyllic, it’s honestly hard to leave! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and use as a base to explore southern Sri Lanka, if you don’t stay you’re missing out.

Me and my boyfriend have stayed at Agape Resorts for more than 2 months and it has been like a home away from home (a very lavish one may I add😂😍)

The staff are incredibly lovely, chatty and will try their best to provide you with anything you need! The chef is an amazing cook and was always making us delicious Sri Lankan dishes that we had never tried before 😋

The rooms are super clean, the beds are comfy, you get AC and hot showers!!!
The garden/outside area is so beautiful full of different trees, plants and flowers 🌺
The pool is amazing too, it is a pretty big pool compared to others I have seen in Sri Lanka and it is always clean as a pool man comes every week or so to attend to it.

Overall I believe that Agape Resorts may be the best accommodation I have stayed in Sri Lanka!🇱🇰❤️

We stayed at Agape Resorts for 2+ months and had the most incredible time. The staff are the friendliest, kindest people who will help with or do anything you could need. The rooms were clean and modern with comfy beds and new A/C + roof fans as well as warm showers, kettles with coffee and tea in each room and plenty of lighting. The pool is cleaned every few days meaning it is in immaculate condition and lovely to swim in. The garden and grounds are well maintained with trees, plants and wildlife - feels like your own personal jungle. The food on site is amazing and cheap. You can make special requests for meals, we personally enjoyed fresh grilled fish sourced locally. Agape assisted with medical needs too as they have a doctor on site with pharmacy so we felt very safe and looked after. 5 minute drive from ahangama town so far enough away from the noise but close enough to make it convenient. They also arranged airport transfer and motorbike rental for us, again for a good price (separate businesses but they have good connections and links to whatever you need here). The value for money is unmatched and I will be staying here again any time I come to Sri Lanka!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay in Sri Lanka, the staff welcomed us with open arms and have been very accommodating and just lovely. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer and more welcoming stay, we’ll be back for sure!
