Perfect relaxing stay surrounded by nature.
Pros:

Beautiful property with lovely rooms and swimming pool surrounded by rice paddy fields and nature. The owners were very kind and gave a great tour of the tea plantation.

Quiet, peaceful, stylish hideaway
Pros:

Gorgeous property 2miles away from beach area, very quiet with lots of birdlife. Beautifully presented, very helpful staff. The owners, Charlie and Richard were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.

Cons:

Nothing, would return in a heartbeat.

2 amazing nights in Tekanda Lodge
Pros:

Everything! Tekanda Lodge is in the most beautiful setting with very high levels of service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We absolutely loved our stay here and wish it could gave been longer. The rooms are big, spacious and peaceful and the pool is just beautiful.

Cons:

Nothing. It's a very special place. A very minor point - a fan in the bathroom would be good as it gets quite warm in there.

Stunning lodge in excellent location - stay here!
Pros:

Owners and staff were all fantastic and friendly, and the lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Watching the birds from the main lounge area was a highlight, as was chatting to other guests at the end of the day. Food was really good and the rooms were spacious and well decorated.

We would recommend Tekanda Lodge to anyone looking for a calm and serene place in the lush jungle of Ahangama.
Pros:

Everything was exceptional, starting from the rooms, the breakfast, the location / surroundings and a special thanks to the very kind staff and owners who did everything to make us feel comfortable.

We never go back to the same hotel, but we will go back to Tekanda.

Everything. A fabulous boutique hotel. Wonderful location, great food, fabulous staff - especially Upul, the lodges manager.

one of the best holiday of a lifetime , a week in paradise !
Pros:

Possibly the best run small hotel in Sri Lanka . Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were exceptional .
A beautiful hill top establishment with English owners who know what they are doing . Advice for the area was brilliant .

Wunderschöner Ort, professionell geführt und mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal, tolles Frühstück und für das was man bekommt ein mehr als faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich möchte gerne wiederkommen.

So peaceful and relaxing!
Pros:

Tekanda Lodge was heaven! The setting is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful views in every direction.

The staff were wonderful and made our stay effortless. They arranged all of our activities, and we especially loved the tea factory tour, estate tour and morning yoga on the deck.

The food was beautifully prepared each day, and the communal dinners were such a lovely way to end the evenings.

A special thank you to Richard, Charlie, and Upul for sharing their knowledge and being so welcoming. We would love to come back one day!
