Cons:

The staff are not very polite or helpful, I found the cleaners more polite and especially more helpful!
There was a scraping noise from about 3am to 8am from the floor above, I guess there’s rooftop bar and had to be cleaned! But I couldn’t get a rest as I kept getting woken up every 5-10 minutes! After calling the receptionist nothing changed! I do not like writing negative comments but would not recommend Hotel Astoria to anyone!

Pros:

Spacious, clean, quiet. Located inside Lucerne. Everything is nearby.

Cons:

A little bit of sewage smell in the air, but that is normal because we are near the lake.

All in all it was a great stay.
Pros:

Room was great, Hotel location was perfect, walking distance from everything.
Staff were very good. Breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

Beds are very firm, not my style.
Disappointed to find there is no room service, no midnight snacks for us.
There was an event on the roof one night so getting back into the hotel was very difficult, bouncers tried to stop us.

Thank you for the stay — I was very happy with the room. Property very clean.

Cons:

Two points for improvement:

1. Reception: the staff member seemed to be in training and lacked warmth and welcoming energy.
2. Breakfast: charging 40.- for the current offering is excessive. Please consider a simple business breakfast option (coffee, eggs, muesli).

With these improvements, the experience would be much better.

Ausser das mit der Nachtruhe, kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.
Pros:

Das Zimmer für 3 Personen war sehr schön.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker.

Cons:

An Wochenenden kann man in diesem Hotel nicht schlafen, da ein enormer Lärmpegel von der Disco kommt bis 04.00 h in der frühe. Würde hier am Wochenende kein Zimmer mehr buchen.
