The hotel is beautiful. Nice and cozy bungalows and a very friendly staff! The food was very tasty and you only have a shirt walk to the beach. Also Bruno the dog and his kitten siblings are all adorable and very friendly!
We visited during the off-season, so there was less staff than usual. We also had a few bug encounters since the room hasn't been occupied for a little bit.
Not a big thing though and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Amazing lady offering us all we needed and even made us take away pancakes 🥞 for early check out. Very friendly we highly recommend. Very calm too away from traffic
La piscina súper limpia, no hay hamacas pero creo que tampoco las necesitas, tiene un jardín espectacular y las habitaciones son cabañas con nevera!! Relación calidad precio inmejorable
Quizás que la nevera estaba muy vieja pero por decir algo “negativo”
W obiekcie było bardzo czysto, woda w basenie również była czysta choć dość mocno chemiczna. Na pewno dużą zaletą tego obiektu jest bliskość do głównej plaży. Obsługa była bardzo miła i pomocna, przygotowali dla nas fajne śniadanie.
w pokoju żyją sobie mrówki, choć są również rozsypane trutki na nie, widać że obsługa walczy z tym problemem

Hôtel un peu loin de la rue principale mais cela se fait bien à pied quand même.
Piscine agréable, beaucoup de chlore dedans. Qu’un transat présent et inutilisable (moustiques ++).
Отличные хозяева, просторный номер, вкусные завтраки, можно поплавать в бассейне, милая собака на территории :) до океана не так далеко

Amazing place! So friendly and helpful family, wonderful breakfast and a perfect spot in Hikkaduwa. I can not complain on anything. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hikkaduwa.❤️

Location is pretty good, about 400 m to the beach and very close to the main street with restaurants and shops.
I really loved the territory, you live in a tropical garden. We even saw a monkey :)
There was a different breakfast every day, everything was tasty.
I would appreciate if there was a fridge in the room. We used the shared one in the shared kitchen but it was not very convenient.
Wi-fi is working only next to the reception, our room was far from it and the signal was very poor.
-The location is great. Far enough from the main road, train track and beach etc so it's nice and quiet, but a short walk away
-Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The owner in particular is very helpful. Any issues are quickly resolved
-The room is good and the bathroom is very spacious. The kitchen/fridge as well as the washing machine are a huge bonus, especially of you're travelling around Sri Lanka and need to was clothes regularly.
- The swimming pool is handy to cool off. It does get filled up with dead bugs but at the same time it does get cleaned every other day

There were a few issues that arose throughout our stay. For instance the bed sheets needed to be replaced on arrival as they were dirty, there was still sand in the bathroom from previous guest, the wifi didn't work and the cooker was a bit dodgy. All of these issues individually are not a big deal and any time I asked for help I was given it. But when I'm paying $166 for 3 nights, I expect a certain standard, and I don't think it was met.
There are 2 street lights outside, and the neighbour keeps his porch light on the whole night, so it gets very bright in the room at night

Cleanliness
The Staff at Vidisa Villas is just lovely. They are always friendly and keep the place in great shape. The breakfast is exceptional and includes some part continental and also some local dishes. We spend 4 nights here and we received a different local speciality each morning. The main beach in Hikkaduwa can be reached on foot easily. Thank you for hosting us, we will definetly return if we ever manage to come back to Sri Lanka!
