იანვარში ორი დღე რომ ცივი წყლით გიწევს დაბანა, სტაფს თხოვ გამოსწორებას და ყურადღების მომქცევიც რომ არავინ გყავს, სირცხვილია. პარასკევს ვითხოვე ტელევიზიის გასწორება და ისე წამოვედი, არ გაუსწორებიათ. შუაგულ კახეთში მწვადი ვერ ვჭამე😂🤦🏻‍♂️ ერთხელ ტაფაზე შემწვარი მოიტანეს, მეორედ უზარმაზარი ბარკლის ძვლები.

Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Personal war wenig hilfreich. Obacht hier!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und auch der Frühstücksraum sehr großzügig und schön. Die Außenanlage ist wunderbar, mit viel Grün und einem parkähnlichem Aufbau. (Allerdings könnten unter anderem die Bänke im Garten mal eine Überarbeitung bzw. Renovierung bekommen.

Cons:

1. Die Begrüßung im Hotel war: "Passport”.
Wir erwarten nicht eine detailierte deutsche oder englische Begrüßung, allerdings zumindest die einfachsten Sätze, um einen Gast willkommen zu heißen.
2. Wir hatten die Juniorsuite mit 38 Quadratmetern gebucht (Siehe Screenshot). Wir bekamen ein Doppelzimmer (knapp 20 Quadratmeter) mit einem großen Balkon. Auf unsere Einwände ging man nicht ein, antwortete vielmehr “es wäre das richtige Zimmer“.
3. Nach langen Diskussionen und der Information, dass die EINZIGE!!! Juniorsuite leider belegt ist, bekamen wir 20 Prozent vom Preis nachgelassen.
4. Als Geste des guten Willens wollte man uns am nächsten Tage eine Führung durch den Weinkeller geben, allerdings hatte man den Termin "verwechselt", weshalb er nicht stattfand.
5. Das Zimmer bzw. das Interieur ist auf jeden Fall etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Nachtschränke sind beschädigt, die Terrassenmöbel und Blumenkübel schreien nach frischer Farbe (siehe Bilder). Die Handtücher lösen sich langsam in ihre Bestandteile auf. Das galt auch für die neuen am nächsten Tag. Der Kofferständer war defekt und brach zusammen, wurde allerdings sofort ausgetauscht.
Aufgrund der Umstände habe ich das Zimmer vermessen, es hat knapp 20 Quadratmeter (Siehe Skizze).
6. Nach wie vor werden auf der Booking.com-Seite 4 Juniorsuiten angeboten (Jetzt mit 28 Quadratmetern angegeben). Es gibt aber soweit die Angaben der Rezeptionistin gar keine 4 Suiten, ich vermute hier (leider) System dahinter. Auch sind jetzt die Bilder ausgetauscht worden und man kann Doppelzimmer und Juniorsuite zumindest am Bild nicht mehr unterscheiden.
Da stellt sich mir die Frage: Wenn man schon so tolle Juniorsuiten hat, warum präsentiert man sie dann nicht...?
7. Das Rezeptionspersonal regiert nicht professionell und lösungsorientiert, sondern beschwichtigend und mit der Behauptung, nichts zu verstehen.

Hidden gem - great views
Pros:

A hidden gem overlooking the Georgian wine region with distant views of the Caucasus mountains. Rooms were a good size and well equipped, the restaurant was well sized and offered great views, as did the sun terrace. There is also a lovely pool area. Breakfast was good with a good number of items on the buffet. Not sure there is much else to do in the local area, but the restaurant offered a great menu and selection of wines.

Ampelo Resort – A Charming Stay in the Heart of Kakheti
Pros:

Ampelo Resort is located in the heart of Kakheti and is easy to reach by car. The hotel has an impressive front entrance, and the views from both the room and the restaurant are absolutely splendid. The large yard is beautifully landscaped, with every corner thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was decent, and there is also an additional building with unique décor — the wine cellar is definitely worth a visit.

Cons:

When traveling to regional châteaus, you expect food prepared with fresh local ingredients rather than factory-produced mass-market products. I was very disappointed not to have the chance to try local eggs, chicken, veal, and other regional specialties.
We also ordered both dinner and supper at the hotel, and while some dishes were enjoyable, others clearly need improvement. The khachapuri, for example, had a noticeably different taste each time, depending on the cook’s skills. The mtsvadi was also not well-prepared. Overall, the cuisine should better align with the hotel’s otherwise high standards.

I will visit again.
Pros:

The hotel had a very good breakfast and an absolutely delicious restaurant – every dish was better than the last. The room offered a beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just a small note – it would be great if they could refresh some of the bathrobes and towels.

A hotel with a lot of annoyances
Pros:

Very beautiful and well-maintained outdoor area, lots of sunbathing and seating options to relax, also a lot of shady places, great views of the surrounding area, clean pool, well-stocked and free minibar, very good wine (0.7l bottle) as a welcome, kettle with coffee and tea in room, rich and varied breakfast

Cons:

Frayed towels and bathrobes, a sheet that's far too small, so you're constantly lying on the bare mattress, dusty shelves and drawers, occasionally bad smell in the bathroom, extremely thin walls (you can really hear every single word and noise from the neighboring rooms), very poor or no working Wi-Fi, the wallpaper in the hallway is torn and peeling off, the electronic door lock is very tricky and everytime a test of pacience...we usually had to get help because we could'nt enter the room! Everything here is very unprofessional. And obviously, they don't care about maintenance or repairs here. Broken or worn-out things are simply left as they are. The main thing is that the hotel looks very classy from the outside...

Conclusion: Considering all these shortcomings, the price for this accommodation is definitely too high!
