This is a pleasant,convenient place to stay, we would stay here again.
Pros:

This is a great place to stay. We were upgraded to a motel unit which was very nice. We were glad of the space to put our gear, travelling on a motorbike means helmets, heavy jackets, etc.
The guest laundry was handy and cheap .
Very comfy bed, very clean unit.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

We ate at the hotel restaurant , both had fish and chips, which was average in quality. Generous serve of salad ,though.

Pros:

The meal on Friday was more Blue steak than med/rare and so tough it was inedible, meal on Mon was good but with only 6 other people in dining room felt a 50 minute wait wasn't good enough,

Good place to stop and rest and fuel up (restaurant)
Pros:

Great thing was having a restaurant, especially after travelling after a very very long day so just grabbing dinner “onsite”. And 4 square was just a minute down the road if you forgot your toothbrush. Overall place was comfortable, kitchen staff (restaurant) were really nice and helpful. Only suggestion I would make is having hand wash in the bathroom. Other than that a nice place to stop and rest 👍🏼

Room for improvement
Pros:

The staff was friendly and roo. 17 was very spacious. It was a large two bedroom and more of a flatlet. The shower was excellent with super strong water flow. The restuarant was nice and air-conditioned, which gave us a break from the heat. Drinks were affordable and there was a room for our daughter to play. The food took 1.5 hours as it was very busy and the staff were running around and doing a great job with how busy it was. Food was delicious too.

Cons:

The beds were super uncomfortable. We struggled to sleep. The double bed made you feel like you were lying upside down at an angle. The one single bed made you roll to the sides. The other single bed was ok and the best of them all. The pull out single was also okay for my daughter. The toilet flush button kept getting stuck so we had to keep lifting the lid off and pulling it up to flush. There was only one fan, and it was hot and humid. We ended up putting the 3 single beds together so that we could all get use of the fan.

The unit also wasn't properly cleaned. There was grass on the carpet, tea/coffee stain on the floor, dusty streaked mirrors. We noticed someone came to give fresh towels when we were out for the day. That was nice and appreciated, but they didn't leave toilet paper so we had to go asking for it when we got back.

Overall it's a nice place to stay. Just room for improvement, thats all.
