Pros:

Der persönliche Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war außergewöhnlich nett!
Das Hotel ist eher wie eine Gastfamilie. Wir haben die Gespräche sehr genossen.
Zu Fuß ist man in circa 10 Minuten im Zentrum.
In den Zimmern ist es sehr ruhig, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben.
Die Dusche hatte zuverlässig warmes Wasser.
Das Zimmer war geräumig mit vielen Abstellmöglichkeiten.

Cons:

Leider war das Bett nicht sehr bequem.

Pros:

Location was excellent, very friendly and nice host. Is a good place for backpackers . Affordable price.

La ubicación era excelente, El anfitrion es muy amable y simpático. Es un buen lugar para mochileros o personas que van de paso.
Buen precio.

Cons:

Its difficult to rest because there are always people coming in at any hour, you can even hear the door bell witch sounds so loud.. If you want to rest this is not the place. About the cleaning aspect, is not bad but there were soap leftovers in the bathroom from the last guest, with means is not so clean at all.

Es difícil descansar porque siempre hay gente entrando a cualquier hora; incluso se oye el timbre, que suena muy fuerte. Si quieres descansar, este no es el lugar. En cuanto a la limpieza, no está mal, pero había restos de jabón en el baño del huésped anterior, lo que significa que no estaba del todo limpio.

Pros:

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich toll, haben uns immer etwas zu trinken angeboten und zum Sonnenuntergang durften wir auf ihre Dachterasse :)

Pros:

I absolutely loved it , the place is spotless clean, quiet,10 min walk from the main square.
But most importantly the owners Edgar and Odi are the nicest people I met on my trip in Central America.
Highly recommend if you visit Xela

Great hosts and location.
Pros:

The location was great, and the hosts supported us beyond anything required. Like, we brought in food sometimes, and they let us use their plates and silverware. The filtered water was great, too. They also provided extra towels as needed and so on. Great for talking with, also.

Cons:

It was sometimes awkward not to have a key to get in from outside. They were always available when we needed to get in, though, and one time when they were going out, they coordinated with us first.

Extrem liebe Gastgeber, zentral, wie zu Hause
Pros:

Ich war fast eine Woche hier und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt - ich habe sogar nochmal verlängert. Das Beste sind die Inhaber, die extrem lieb und hilfsbereit sind. Sie haben mir jeden Tag Kaffee/Tee und Kuchen angeboten und man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt!
Es ist natürlich kalt, wir überall in Xela, aber es gab viele Decken und die Dusche hatte zuverlässig warmes Wasser (nicht immer so in Guatemala 😉).
Die Lage ist super, 5-10 zum Central Park und daher zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft war klasse, das einzige ist wirklich die Kälte in der Nacht, darauf muss man sich einstellen, wenn man nach Xela reist! Ich empfehle Wasserkocher und Wärmflasche.

Charming small Hotel in Xela
Pros:

Perfect for a stay in Xela. Casolia is close to the main square and there are several nice Cafés in the area.
The owner couple is by far the most welcoming I experienced, always happy to help.

Muy recomendable, buen apoyo a familia local
Pros:

Es una casa adaptada para hotelito familiar. Excelente ubicación, cuartos limpios, excelente agua caliente. Cama y almohadas cómodas. Si, ls cuartos son un poco frios pero así es toda la ciudad. Muy amable la pareja de dueños.

Cons:

en los pasillos hay leve olor a gato por la mascota y el perrito pero en los cuartos no molesta, y estan nítidos y muy limpios.
