Highly disappointed (single room)
Pros:

Central position near the station and the main street.

Cons:

I wasn't lodged in the main building, which was far more beautiful (I went to the third floor by mistake). I suppose those are the double/triple rooms. My single room instead was located in an adjacent building.

The room was tiny, I almost had no space to open my luggage. The bathroom was even smaller than expected and the water jet in the toilet didn't work properly (when stopping the water jet, it didn't end at once, it decreases and then splashed one last water jet... so you can imagine the first time when I didn't know about it...).

The room didn't feel that much clean, and although the staff was very friendly, I checkedout earlier. I decided to lose my second night money, cancel my morning shinkansen and book an overnight bus for my next destination rather than spending a second night there.

I didn't complain to the staff because it was only a two-night stay and in any case I don't know what they could have done. Anyway, I would never lodge there again, it was the only hotel in my three-weeks trip in Japan that disappointed me so much.

Wonderfull time whit onsens
Pros:

My stay here truly exceeded my expectations. This place is absolutely beautiful, and even more charming in person than what appears on the Booking page.

One of the most wonderful surprises was discovering the onsens. I had not realized when booking that the property offers such a variety, including private and outdoor baths, and they are all truly spectacular.

If I may make a small suggestion, it might be nice to include photos of the onsens and the front desk area on the Booking page, as they are far more beautiful in person than what the current photos show.

Thank you very much for such a lovely stay. I had a wonderful time here and will remember it fondly.

Friendly staff, and free onsen onsite.
Pros:

Great location, in front of the main hotel but you still get access to the free onsen at the hotel, and coffee / water / tea.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Great location.

Cons:

Room is a little small if you have two suitcases or a big one.
