Erst war ich leicht irritiert, weil die Rezeption nicht besetzt war...aber ich stellte schnell fest, dass das kein Problem war. Es gab eine Telefonnummer an der Tür und ich wurde bestens in mein Zimmer geleitet. Mit einem Code kam ich gut klar.
Die Einrichtung war außergewöhnlich, die Wände individuell gestaltet, teilweise mit Holzscheiben und
Steinen...
Am besten hat mir der große Ohrensessel gefallen, der Bezug war farblich und motivhaft ein absoluter Hingucker.
Das Frühstück war hervorragendend!
Schon wegen dem Hotel muss ich mal wieder nach Bad Mergentheim reisen!

Es besteht ein erheblicher Renovierungsstau. Flecken im Teppich, abgewetzte Sessel im "Alfa Romeo" Zimmer, Fernsehbild bestehend aus Steifen und Pixeln zeugen davon.

Bad im 70er Jahre Stil samt Kinderbildchen als Rutschstop in der Badewanne komplettieren das Bild.

Das sehr freundliche Personal kann die Defizite des Hotels leider nicht ausgleichen.

- There was quite many strange mosquitos in my room
- The pillow was rude
- The ventilation in the bathroom was bad
- There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor, and also in my room
- The bedside lamp was very strong
- The personnel was not that service minded

Pros:

Very good address - in a side street near the square, quiet place. Possibility of parking. Stay 2 nights, single bed, old-style hotel, reception desk especially at the back, dingy elevator, room with no air conditioning, no fan available (unbearable in August heat and tropical nights), old and no longer working refrigerator right next to the head next to the bed (its switching is audible at night). The price of the accommodation does not match, when compared to other hotels.

The staff were warm helpful and accommodating. The room was nicely organized and updated. Everything was super clean. In particular the breakfast was outstanding, many choices well presented and delicious we ate in a sunny comfortable room we would definitely recommend and stay there again

Best stay on the Romantic Road
Pros:

Great location just a few buildings down from the main historic center of town. Easy access. 2 minute walk. Very comfortable slept very well. Had elevator and mini frig. Quiet area. Very pleased with hotel and owner. Free parking signs on hotel say Deutschmark Meister
