Le personnel est "évanescent" sauf la dame du petit-déjeuner. La Wi-Fi fonctionne très mal.

The place could do better
Pros:

The place was close to a good restaurant as well as the beach. The staff were generally helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Generally the staff were friendly but it seems like they are under staffed and over booked. If people are providing services they should as well have the required number of staff. They also did not seem to have a power back up. In one of the days during our stay the electricity went off at 2 am in the night and we are in total darkness with fan or a/c until 10 am. The staff and owner gave different versions for what was going on. I had to call multiple times to follow up. They always have a reason why things are not in order.

Pros:

Centrally located, very nice staff, breakfast was also very good and very affordable. Overall stay was also very budget friendly.

Cons:

Il n y avait pas de douche dans la chambre contrairement à ce que j avais réservé, même pas à partager ! Rien ne m a été proposé pour me laver. C est juste inadmissible de louer un truc pareil, pourtant habituée à dormir en guesthouse, là c était le pompon. On peut voir sur les photos l absence de robinetterie

The guy at the reception has major issues. He got drunk in the night and was shouting outside our room in Malayalam. he was saying some really nasty things like "I have their address", etc. He also insulted a girl that was travelling with us. Overall a horrible stay. I have recorded a video of this guys shouting outside our room around 3 AM in the night and will put it up on my instagram soon. Exceptionally terrible and unsafe place to be because of the property manager.
Update: The property replied to this review and deleted after i updated this review with the following.
To the guy who replied to this review claiming I wrote it out of spite. I took a video of your property manager shouting abuses in malayalam. Is that your "property policies"? Your property manager was the one who got drunk and was shouting at 3AM when we were sleeping. Like deep sleep in "quiet hours". He was on a call shouting at somebody else and then i came out of my room to ask him to not create noise because we were sleeping because people sleep at 3AM. Apparently that triggered him and he started shouting on me. I left and slept again cos i could see he was drunk but he continued shouting right outside our door. Obviously people would complain about the noise he was creating. I dont know what story your property manager made up to you but if you care to "investigate" the incident, you have my email. Have the spine to reach out and ill share the video of the nasty abuses he was hurling in your holy language of malayalam. Do you want me to share the video with you? You havent even reached out to apologize. Ill update this review soon with the youtube link. You should be ashamed. Instead of properly apologizing, you are saying "handling such issues publicly is not ideal" and that you staff "didnt behave inappropriately". He got drunk and threatened with violence. You have CCTV cameras where he did this, put some effort.

Good value, great location, excellent staff
Pros:

Great location within easy walking distance of everything you would want. It’s clean and well maintained. In particular the staff is great. The breakfast was excellent and the manager went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of (he even went out to buy me a pillow when I found the other ones uncomfortable!)

Very convenient location. Breakfast was great fruit and eggs or local style.
Just a little update to say how very helpful and friendly all the people were. They went to extra lengths to take care of us, especially the Manager, Christie. I would definitely recommend this as a good place to stay and they had some good suggestions for restaurants in the area as well.I
