Spectacular view in a great location - close to beach and upscale restaurants.
Pros:

Our Xanadu apartment was amazing. Great location, well kept building and the apartment was recently given a modern makeover which felt fresh and tidy. The view from a middle of the building apartment was truly spectacular - it made our stay so memorable. We will be back for sure.

Awesome stay at a great location.
Pros:

We've stayed at the Xanadu before and it is our preferred accommodation on the Gold Coast. We're a husband and wife couple in our 50's and we find Main Beach to be such a great GC suburb, accessible to everything but a little quieter and more refined than Surfers. Xanadu allows great views of the beach and quick access to anything you might need. The staff are always friendly, the facilities well appointed and the apartments spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

We don't have anything to complain about - our only niggle is that it would be nice if the kitchens had salt and pepper grinders - they have great kitchen equipment but would benefit from just a few of the basics that you don't really want to buy when travelling.

Beautiful views, clean, comfortable and great value.
Pros:

Location was awesome. Close proximity to beach, restaurants, grocery shop, tram and bus services.
Very quiet location.
Nice to have gym and barbecue facilities.
Beachfront views from balcony was amazing.
Spacious bedrooms and living areas.

Cons:

Would have loved to been on a floor higher than Level 6 but thankfully traffic noise was minimal.
Lots of construction work next door which started around 6.30am.
Would have appreciated a box of tissues as a standard resort/hotel amenity.

Pros:

Excellent location, walk to the beach, Tedder Ave and just around the corner from Aussie Fare for supermarket shopping. We were in the North Tower in an older apartment but still well-appointed and with great views. Would happily stay again.

Pros:

Easy check in, good facilities, beds reasonably comfy, mostly quiet and good curtains.good kitchen facility. Great views.

Cons:

Shower in ensuite leaked(silicon needed renewing) some maintenance issues like failing plastic , couch chair, can opener didn’t function.

A picturesque stay in a lovely apartment
Pros:

The view of the ocean from the light filled well styled apartment made it a pleasure to be in. Watching whales from the balcony of our 7th level apartment was a highlight. Beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure.

Cons:

Was a little bit of noise from surrounding building works but didn’t impact our stay.

Disappointed in some things but we probably will be back one day
Pros:

Everything was spotless. The views were beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfortable as was the couch. The rooms were large and apartment itself was spacious and simple which was perfect for our children. Preparing for a wedding with such a large ensuite bench was lovely. The staff were absolutely lovely and super professional and helpful. The location was great with a short walk to the bus line and a cute street of boutiques and cafes. The outside area we didn't get to use much because of the season but in summer I imagine it would be lovely to swim and bbq there, very clean and beautiful and updated. The indoor pool was a nice temperature and the sauna was lovely. The bathroom to shower and change in after the pool was a lovely addition and so beautiful and updated.

Cons:

The ensuite shower quite suddenly turn boiling hot and cold even if no taps are running.
The kitchen was very lacking. I've stayed in a lot of places over the years and have never stayed in a place that lacked so many of the usual extras. If you are staying a long time and not relying on take out then definitely invest in things like glad wrap, oil, paper towel, coffee, sugar etc. Particularly because we were financially strapped, feeling like we needed to buy all these essentials just to fry some sausages was very frustrating. I feel as though whoever decorated and equipped the kitchen does not understand the current era. Everything was very dated and aged. All the pans were very scratched and there were a lot of basics missing. It would have been nice to have an air fryer or something. I didn't realize until we were leaving that the bin bags were in layers so rubbish was overflowing and I had no bag to replace it because there was no roll and I didn't have time to go buy some. With children, it would have been nice to open a draw or cabinet and find a few dvds, board games but there was nothing and literally nothing except for adult books in the library in the building. Every place I've ever stayed at had nice surprises and extras about the house or apartment. Our particular apartment also looked nothing like the pictures. Not bright and beautifully decorated like the website pictures. Obviously the best unit in the block has been picked to display on booking.com. So even though it was ok and everything was clean and comfortable, it didn't meet the expectations I was expecting that I paid for.

One spa didn't seem to be working properly, the jets were cold and turned off pretty quickly. The second spa was ok but the jets seemed too harsh in my experience so I don't know if that's just how they are or if they are malfunctioning.
