Elegant, private secure and fantastic hospitality! 10/10
Pros:

Fantastic beautiful property. Emmanuel and his team have been superb at keeping the property, it’s cosy and also feels fantastic and luxurious! They made us feel welcome before our arrival, accommodated our needs, breakfasts requirements and helped us get to the airport. We recommend and will definitely be returning!!thank you again

Pros:

Elmitho house is on the outskirts of the city. Very clean and comfortable with a custom breakfast made by Chef Lily. We booked a safari to Tarangini and Ngorogoropark with Greg Adventures and it was good. The driver Daudi/David was humble, well knowledgeable and engaged well with children and family. The car broke down twice but we had a quick replacement and also last day lunch provided by Greg to compensate for our troubles. My family was picked up at the airport and we were left at the airport by Greg that we had arranged with him.

Cons:

Old car that broke down twice otherwise all good. Thanks Greg.

Magic stay at the foot of Meru.
Pros:

Very Good. Night Guard, Cook and House Help super friendly, efficient and accomodating. Emanuel had some great tips of where to eat locally. Was a real gem.

Great property! Enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. The chef was very timely and accommodating. We never had to struggle to get our food served on time. The property location isn't the easiest to find, but the surrounding is very quiet away from the bustle of the city.

Cons:

The location, but I suppose there is nothing to be done about that. The roads to the property are super narrow and could do with some tarmac.

Lovely and private house for a large family
Pros:

Elmitho house is a really lovely place for a large family. My extended family of 6 adults and 4 children stayed for 2 nights prior to embarking on our Safari. We were thankful for the delicious dinner (extra charge) and breakfast (included) prepared by the cook. The common areas of the house are very spacious and allow for enough space for socializing. I especially loved the upstairs living area and upstairs balcony. All areas of the house were well appointed and well maintained.

Cons:

There is one downstairs bedroom which was helpful so those with mobility limitations don't need to use the stairs, but unfortunately it is located just off of the kitchen so was subject to the sounds and smells of breakfast and dinner being prepared.

Pros:

The house was well organized, the staff very helpful and friendly, the Chef was excellent I loved the dinner. Clean house well kept and managed. If you're are looking for a home, away from home, Elmitho is the place to be, whether alone, with friends or family

Potato and hunter (the security dogs) were very playful😅am not a dog lover

A hidden gem in a friendly neighborhood.
Pros:

The property is large with two living spaces, and a sunny balcony in the morning, big enough for large groups to hang out. Everything was tidy and Agnes and Lilian did a great job of looking after us- great food and advice of what to do.

Cons:

It is a little far out of town but there are local shops a few steps away selling anything you need, and easy to get a Bolt from the main road. So nice being away from the tourist area and pushy sellers. Everyone in the neighbour hood is so kind!

Great house and great hosts.
Pros:

The house is really spacious and looks just like it is in the pictures.
The staff were really welcoming and made our stay really comfortable.
The host Emmanuel was also very helpful and catered to all our needs.

Cons:

Road to the house can be a bit challenging for cars with low clearance.

The property is exactly as in the photos. It was quite clean, amazing, and helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable. Our meals were freshly made and delicious- this was one of the best things about the property. The property is great for group or family travelers.

Cons:

The short dirt road leading to the property is not so good. Best to have a car with good ground clearance as it can get hectic when it rains.

Exceptional ☺️
Pros:

The privacy , the big house to yourself, the amazing staff and the good reception with the host ☺️. Emmanuel was very nice he came to direct us from town to the accommodation. He responded very quickly and also gave us good spots to have our meals as we experience Arusha . The breakfast was lovely thanks to Neema ☺️☺️.

The wifi was lagging.

Pros:

Location is good ans quiet
The house is big and has all basic needs, nothing fancy but its okay.
There are two quiet dogs living in the garden, they are friendly to people
Agnes and Justin work on the property and are friendly and helpful

Cons:

The kitchen is not clean and items are sticky. (After telling this to Agnes she was happy to clean it)
Before we could use the freezer we had to defrost and clean it ourself. The rest of the house was clean.

An exceptional stay with warm hospitality, great food, and outstanding service from start to finish.
Pros:

Our host was spectacular. Emmanuel offered to meet us as soon as we arrived in town and personally escorted us to the house. The house is big and spacious, providing a very comfortable stay.

Emmanuel was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating—even with last-minute requests, from arranging food to canceling planned tours on short notice.

Our chef, Mama Brian, was wonderful. The food was delicious and always served on time. On our last day, she even made sure breakfast was ready before 6 a.m. so we could leave on schedule.

I highly recommend this place!
