Myeongdong Stay
Pros:

Staff were so friendly - could not do enough for you. Special mention to Dustin and Cha. We arrived after 11pm on our 1st night and they had left clear instructions for us to get into our room. Location was ideal for us. Close to public transport and not far walking distance to main areas. Also brillant coffee shops and BBQ restaurants beside the hotel.

Cons:

We had a great stay - had everything we needed.

Central, small, clean.
Pros:

The lounge on the roof top is a great idea. Rooms are fairly small to do anything but sleep and take a shower. The lounge offers the space to have a tea/coffee, relax and sit at a proper table.
Check-in was fast and friendly, we used luggage storage service- very convenient. Location is very central, all shops, cafes, restaurants, you name it- all there. If you are after big city's "hustle and bustle"- this is the place.
Window was possible to open - good option for a small room where air might get tight.

Cons:

Location is close to Seoul station, but this short distance is deceiving. Too short to take a taxi, too long to walk with heavy suitcases, going up and down the stairs through multiples underground passes. We planned a last night stop there, just to spend the night before leaving to the airport. Would not do it again. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but for this specific purpose (overnight stay linked to departure) this hotel is not ideal.
Open window is a bonus, but keep in mind the big city "hustle and bustle" - the noise will be well audible.
The lounge on the rooftop- great idea in itself, just need to be polished a bit further, with some plastic cutlery... something to stir tea/coffee, put some jam on bread, clearly missed those basic tools.

Amazing location and very friendly staff
Pros:

Amazing staff and location were absolutely amazing. Great WiFi and cozy beds.

Cons:

The room was a bit dark, but it didn’t bothered us as we were out a lot. The central for floor heating was a bit too warm for the night, if you don’t want to sleep with AC running but the staff always was helpful to adjust it even at night when contacted via WhatsApp.

Good hotel in a quiet location in Myeongdong
Pros:

Best thing about the hotel are the young and helpful staff who greet you with a smiling face. Thank you, Jerry, Dustin, Yuna and Nuri for your hospitality, help and great advice. The rooms were big compared to other places in myeongdong. The area was quiet. City Hall station is a 5 minute walk. Reception is only until 11pm but there were clear instructions on how to enter the hotel since we arrived at 2am.

Tout le personnel est au petit soin, hyper attentionné
Le 1er jour j’ai eu besoin de trouver une pharmacie ils m’ont aidé à la geolacaliser et accompagné jusqu'à l’intersection de la rue
L’hôtel est hyper bien situé, très facile pr le métro City Hall et le bus limousine aéroport laisse tout près et encore plus près pr retourner à l’aéroport.

Cons:

Attention aux choix des chbs certaines sont très sombres
Celle attribuée ne correspondait pas à celle sélectionnée sur Booking et la personne à l’accueil a eu la gentillesse de me re attribuer la chb (heureusement elle était disponible)

Amazing hotel!
Pros:

This hotel was perfect for my trip in Seoul’. It was so close to so many main attractions and also to the public transportation. Room was very clean! Members of staff at the reception were so friendly and welcoming, especially a girl, whose name I did not get :( (she showed me how to use the laundry and dryer) and Dustin who asked us if everything went well, gave me a bunch of korean traditional cookies before checking out of the hotel and also offered a bottle of water!
I will definitely return here when I visit Seoul! Thank you!

Second stay in Hotel Firststay Myeongdong and both times have been phenomenal
Pros:

Rooms are good and clean, the location is really close to the main subway lines and the staff has been really amazing. Dustin has helped me a lot, especially as a confused first-time traveller to Seoul, and the entire staff has just been super helpful, sweet and made my stay easy and comfortable.

I’ll definitely return!

All the staff was amazing and welcoming. Dustin did a great job helping me with all my needs and making sure the room was clean and that I had fresh towels and bed sheets.
