There is a very good chance you will find yourself coming back again.

You know how in Italy you usually need to knock off a star from any hotel rating just to manage expectations?
Here, it is exactly the opposite.

Relais Uffizi is a true gem in Florence. The hotel manages to combine an exceptional location with a very high level of hospitality. It is tucked away in a relatively quiet spot, yet just steps from Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. You are right in the heart of everything, while still enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep.

One of the standout advantages, especially in a city like Florence, is arriving by car. The hotel offers valet parking and also takes care of everything related to entering the ZTL, including registering your license plate. The entire arrival process becomes smooth and completely stress-free.

The rooms are spacious compared to what you usually find in the city center, the bed is very comfortable, and the attention to detail is noticeable everywhere. The towels are new, soft, and highly absorbent, the toiletries smell so good you will be tempted to take them home, and the breakfast is high quality and a perfect way to start the day.

Above all, the service truly stands out. The staff is excellent, professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.

The only problem with this hotel

Molta disponibilità del personale. Non riuscivamo a trovare l'hotel perché Google map non dava le giuste indicazioni così ho chiamato la struttura e la ragazza è stata disponibilissima a "guidarci" x telefono...
La colazione è stata buona e servita con porzioni abbondanti.
La stanza era pulitissima, bagno compreso. La posizione è bella perché affaccia direttamente in Piazza della Signoria

L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuto è che nel bagno non c'era posto per poggiare i nostri beauty case con il necessario da usare in bagno. Basterebbe una mensola...

Wonderful stay in a centrally located hotel full of charm!
Pros:

Location was superb as it was very central. Staff at reception and in kitchen were professional, friendly and met our every need! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Quaint boutique hotel with charm! Definitely worth a stay!! Our adult children with our grandchildren also enjoyed their stay in a family suite accomodating beautifully the four of them. The children slept upstairs in a loft type setting! Everyone enjoyed their stay!
Thank you to all staff who made us feel at home and part of their Relais Uffizi family!

Cons:

We were in a suite which was lovely with lots of natural light and space. The room could have done with a wider desk to accomodate computers and technical equipment and a long sofa in front of the bed instead of a bench. This would have made the room more comfortable!
There was little bench space in bathroom and could have done with an extra little table or corner unit to place toiletries. There was plenty of space in this room for these additions. Otherwise well decorated with a luxury feel.

Comfortable stay in the best location
Pros:

Excellent location! Clean and classic style of the hotel and rooms. Professional staff. The breakfast was hands down the best part; real espresso-based coffees and well-prepared breakfast dishes made to order.

Cons:

Elevator doesn’t go all the way up to reception, and no ventilation in the bathroom. Other than that a wonderful stay.

Hotel di charme centralissimo
Pros:

La posizione (praticamente in piazza Signoria), lo stile delle camere, i set di cortesia della farmacia SS. Annunziata. Macchina Nespresso in camera, cantucci e bottigliette d'acqua offerte.

Cons:

Ingresso "autonomo" da un vicoletto buio. La reception è al II piano. Assenza del phon in bagno. Colazione di qualità eccellente ma scarsa per scelta e offerta: una torta solo nel primo giorno, tre tipi di mini croissant, dei piccoli bignè alla crema e una sfogliatina alle mele per il dolce. Per il salato dei montaditos farciti). Al buffet si offre la possibilità di scegliere da un menù un piatto preparato al momento, ma per il dolce la scelta è limitata o a dei pancake o ad uno yogurt greco con granola). Tutto ottimo, ma obiettivamente poco per un 4 stelle. Nella stanza singola il clima è orientato proprio sul letto: il che d'estate potrebbe rappresentare un problema.
