Nothing I went to check in saw the room and handed the keys back straight away still waiting on a refund

The room was dirty bed held together by tape carpet was filthy holes in the wall no bedding on 3 of the bunk beds

Pros:

The manager was really nice and helpfull how central the place was how compfy the beds were and how warm the room was

Cons:

Bar wasnt open no kettle in room when there was cups and teabags no milk either carpet needed hoovering and bin needed emptying

The host makes the entire experience awful!
Pros:

The location was good and I found a McDonald's nearby but it felt shady to walk at night. I was a little scared to walk at night except for directly on the ocean front street

Cons:

Didn't like the hose at all. He's been working there way too long and he knows he's not going to get fired so he doesn't treat you with respect. He treats you like he has a chip on his shoulder and if you don't come at him like you're less than him, then he'll start doing things to try to get you kicked out of the hotel and make you feel like you're sabotaged. I was moved into a room and the first night it was extremely loud so I asked them a day or two later to switch me to a different room as I had paid for an entire month's stay. It was off-season so literally it was me and two or three other guests so the host should have been able to do a good job taking care of the guests but instead he really didn't want to be there in off season and treated us with disrespect. I asked to be moved to a better room where it was quieter since I was going to be sleeping there for an entire month. He moved me to a room that I asked to be moved to but he waited till I moved in and then I saw that the TV did not work. I asked him if he could get a remote from another room and he said no and he wouldn't take a TV from another room that actually worked and put it in there either. So I was stuck there for an entire month with no television knowing that all the other rooms had working TVs and that the host just wouldn't bother to move a TV from another room to my room even when I asked. Room was facing the rear next to the dumpsters and he kept yelling at me for leaving a crack open in the front door. I asked him for a fan and he refused to give me one. And when I went out walking for fresh air one day I came back in to get into the hotel and he was chain smoking with his friends and wouldn't even be bothered to step aside and allow me into the hotel. I had to stand there for a minute till they were all done smoking just to be able to walk through without going through a huge cloud of smoke. I didn't feel like I was a guest.
