Pros:

Ambience was great. Staff was really helpful.

Pros:

We loved this resort. The location was spectacular. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable and tastefully designed. The staff were cheerful and very accomodating. For our anniversary they prepared a candlelight dinner for us, high up in a lookout platform. Another night they prepared a private barbecue for us under a thatched roof.

Cons:

For a longer stay such as ours, the dinner food selection could have been more varied.

Schöne Unterkunft auf kleiner Farm mit tollem Team
Pros:

Ein schönes, ruhiges Resort inmitten einer kleinen Farm mit Kaffeeanbau. Wir haben den Blick ins Grüne sehr genossen. Es gibt einen Aussichtsturm, von dem der Blick noch weiter streifen kann. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Pool erfrischend. Mit Auto-Rikshaw sind es 10 Minuten bis in die nette Kleinstadt Kalpetta. Wunderbar für jeden, der Ruhe und Erholung im Grünen sucht.

Great Resort stay

Property location is good only on the river side.

The administration team have no idea what they are doing regarding advance payments. I would rather pay them on arrival then giving a deposit before time.

Peaceful resort with caring and attentive staff
Pros:

We loved everything about our stay. We cannot fault one thing. We arrived at Sylvan Resort, feeling under the weather as we both caught a stomach bug. They were super attentive and checked in on us several times, asking if we wanted any light meals or drinks. The room was immaculately clean and generously sized. The property itself was gorgeous and serene. They grow coffee, cardamom and other local spices on the farm. They also have an amazing viewing tower for watching those beautiful Wayanad sunsets. The food was excellent. And the staff! They were absolutely wonderful. We hope to visit Wayanad again one day and stay at Sylvan Resort.

Pros:

Very well appointed rooms (if possible get one with a balcony), the small complex is situated about 30 minutes walk from Kalpetta and is peaceful and relaxing. Staff helpful and attentive. Tasty food options on site. The watchtower is a great view point and if possible have a meal under the thatched barn.

Cons:

Unless you like walking you need a tuk tuk to get about, and the menu options are limited. Meal times are a bit late 8.30am breakfast and 8.30pm dinner.
