Near to the center
It’s a scam. We booked the room with balcony. When we came, they charged more just have a new room but without balcony. It’s not valuable.
The location is good. There’s a fantastic sushi place round the corner called Sushi Ship. Best sushi I ever had.
The host deliberately tries to mislead guests into thinking they’re booking somewhere nice with fake photos.
When I arrived at the property, I was told “your room has a problem” and you will be upgraded.
This is false. The room always has a problem because it doesn’t exist, so you always get ‘upgraded’ into the room that does exist. Typical bait and switch scam.
“The pictures on booking.com are of a different hotel entirely. It's a classic bait and switch scam. When you check-in, the staff will say "there is a problem with your room, you will be given an upgrade" which will then be one of the rooms that do actually exist. Have spoken to the police and to booking.com to have them removed from the platform.”
Nice little hotel with friendly staff and clean basic room. No window, but it didn't matter. I would stay over again. There is nice Sushi restaurant near the hotel.
