BEST place to stay in Prayagraj!
Pros:

We have stayed 3 nights there and we absolutely LOVED our stay!
All the staff was super nice, helpful and very accommodating. Reception is available 24/7, you can call them from the phone in the room if you have any questions/requests.
Breakfast (from 8am to 11am) was good and copious (Indian buffet style that changes every morning), with also drinks (water, mango juice and masala tea). Water bottles were given on request everyday.
There is an elevator. There is also a restaurant for lunch and dinner, but we haven't eaten there.
Also, there is a TV with YouTube ecc, and - most importantly - the AC in the room (as well as the fan) and that was very convenient during these hot days!
The bedroom is big, comfortable and tidy, the bathroom is big and clean. We had towels, soap and toilet paper.
The location is great, close to the main attractions (50 roupies via Rapido/tuktuk to any place around).
When we checked out, we could let our bags in the lobby before leaving, that was very nice!
Not so many hotels in Prayagraj accept foreigners, we definitely recommend you to stay in that place! It's very worth it! Thank you for everything!

Bad experience at SUBHASH HOTEL

Firstly approach was difficult,cab driver refused to go there as location in very busy street,in some wholesale market,where car cant pass without getting scratches due to lot of auto and two-wheelers,no basic amenities in room like electric kettle, wardrobe, ceiling fan making too much noise,man cant sleep silently,no stool in bathroom to take bath with bucket and mug,as we dont take shower ,very low height pata was there on which we cant sit, as we both are senior citizens cant sit on low level,we repeatedly requested them for some 1.5 to 2 feet high stool,but they flatly refused they are not having anything like this anyhow we manage with difficulty,overall very bad experience with stay.

Very good budget hotel
Pros:

Location is very good for exploring Prayagraj. Rooms are clean. Staff is polite. You have to be aware that this is budget hotel so don't expect too much. Still, you get much more for price.

Cons:

Every day same breakfast (we were there for three mornings).
