Location
Staff very accommodating
All food very good
Whole place is looking rather tired and ready for a refurbishment.
Perfect location amd fab view
The place needs updating.
The location was great, breakfast was pretty good and the room was spacious and comfortable
Sounds isolation wasn’t great and the hotel was clearly short-staffed in the bar/restaurant, as well understocked for tap beer over the entire bank holiday weekend. Staff looked in general pretty stressed. On the first night we had to wait 1hr for starters to arrive. They also tried to bill us twice for a dinner we had already paid — luckily we kept all receipts (an apology would have been nice though…).
Location, Staff and food
Location
Nothing
The view. The young lady called Fay doing the waitress behind the bar/food area, lovely lady very helpful, she was amazing and definitely a good asset to the hotel. The breakfast staff were nice and took time to know our names.
Outdated, no atmosphere, boring, Resturant opening timed not open long enough, coffee shop closing early especially when people come up to see the view, Menu the same everyday. Limited staff doing everything all day, chef trying to cancel food so he doesn’t finish late. Not once in 4 days was the room visited by house cleaners, bin emptied by us, wifi not working in room. From the moment you arrive and see the hotel for the first time you can tell from the outside that is tired and needs a revamp. So many good things about it but let down by the outside, reception is spacious and welcoming, walked into the coffee shop only to be told they were closing and the bar upstairs opens at 5pm, not the sort of welcoming statement you want from the staff. The bar menu needs to be more varied as it was hit during our stay a bigger salad option would have been appreciated not all like burgers.
Fantastic view and friendly staff
Breakfast too early
Top Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, kostenloser Parkplatz.
Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und könnten sauberer sein. Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein. Brot gibt es gar keins nur Toast, Käse auch nicht vorhanden.
Friendly staff. Nice food and fantastic location
The staff we met were lovely and friendly. However more staff were needed in the restaurant and bar in evenings as the wait times could be frustrating at times. It was also dissapointing many of the drinks were unavailable due to having run out.
View was exceptional, breakfast was good, but not very hot. room was on the small side but the outside private patio was a
bonus.
The staff were under a lot of pressure and had difficulty in coping, especially the kitchen as waiting time was very long for a meal. The bar was not maned and led to long waits. Not good value for money.
Amazing location, stunning views, great for sunsets, easy free parking, great buffet breakfast, friendly (but not enough) staff
Not enough staff at Sunday carvery, two ladies trying to do bar and waiting and clearing. They did the best they could, and the lady from reception helped too.
Housekeeping isn’t every day, was told at check we may or may not get daily maid.
Rooms are a bit dated and old fashioned (but everything worked after we changed rooms as first room patio door would not open).
The views are stunning

Obviously, the location with the brilliant views along Chesil Beach. The staff, as previously recorded, were welcoming and friendly. The provision of a takeaway breakfast was really useful on departure.
It is difficult to complain, but the bombardment of the sun into the restaurant during evening time was quite uncomfortable.i
The Hotel has one of the most spectacular locations. Unfortunately it simply doesn't match that with the level of 'finish' you would expect for the price charged & it's superb views.
The rooms are dated and need refreshing as does a good deal of the interior of the Hotel.
Easy parking, lovely location .
Lage ist super! Beste Aussicht ever!
Alte Ausstattung im Zimmer.
