Fantastic views from for breakfast, dinner and evening drinks, in easy reach of attractions.
Pros:

Breakfast, dinner and Sunday carvery were all very good. The standard double room was a little small but fine, it was hot but a fan was available in the room. No real view from the bedroom, the views are from the bar / restaurant which are fantastic.

Cons:

Aircon would have been nice during a very hot summer weekend.

The seating outside the bar (on the balcony) is limited to 3 tables and a bench, there appears to be room for at least another 3 or 4 seating areas on the balcony ( i am guessing this is left clear for diners to enjoy an uninterrupted view), or the licensing area needs to be extended. I think the area could be opened up to more seating with discretion, after dinner has been served. A simple rope or chain would suffice.

Very acceptable for what we wanted for a one night stay.
Pros:

Great location and views across Chesil Beach. Staff friendly. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Not a lot to dislike. A little dated. Can’t comment on evening food as we didn’t fancy the evening menus, so went out to eat.

Very good. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.
Pros:

Location excellent. Stunning sunset view over Chesil Beach over dinner. Breakfast very good too.

Cons:

It was an extremely hot evening and the restaurant had full west-facing windows. So it was very hot. Would have been no problem in more normal weather conditions.

Overpriced and not good value
Pros:

The view from the restaurant. It really is special.
Most of the staff are really good. Breakfast buffet was really good. Loved the black pudding and the sausages.

Cons:

The hotel feels shabby, old and in need or upgrading. It is way to expensive for what it offers.

Very good location, lovely staff, would use the hotel again.
Pros:

The location is spectacular overlooking Chesil Beach, and a good sunset makes it even more spectacular.
The restaurant is a good location for an evening meal.
The staff were very good, very friendly.

Cons:

The shower over the bath with a shower curtain, shower curtains are a very outdated idea.

Fantastic location, great staff and a big clean room perfect!
Pros:

Fantastic location with incredible views over Chesil Beach and Weymouth from the bistro and bar. I paid for the indulgence pack with early check in and late book out and lots of extra goodies including wine and chocolates, worth every extra penny. Hotel staff were great and the room was absolutely spotless

Feels like your staying in prison
Pros:

The view from the hotel is amazingly breathtaking

Cons:

The food in the restaurant was absolutely disgusting, the lamb kofta was burnt like a brick, staff just said oh the chef might be having a bad day! No offer of refund or replacement
The rooms are small smelly and not nice, very dated and feels unclean

The View is out of this world. Our room was very spacious and very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

There is no Air-con anywhere , nor fans etc. (tiny one in the room, but that is not much help) when it’s hot weather and you are in the restaurant it’s like a greenhouse! Feel sorry for the staff.

Gutes Hotel mit herausragendem Ausblick.
Pros:

Zimmer sind geräumig und ruhig. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksangebot - englisch wie continental. Speisen im Restaurant haben gute Qualität. Einfachere (und gute) Gerichte gibt es ein paar Tische weiter in der Bar. Sehr gute Desserts. Herausragend ist die Aussicht auf die Küste (vom Sitzplatz im Restaurant wie von der Terrasse aus), besonders schön beim Sonnenuntergang. Parkten direkt vor der Tür. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Direkter Zugang zu dem Küstenwanderweg entlang.

Cons:

Enge Treppe in den ersten Stock. Zugang zum Aufzug sehr versteckt (wir haben aber auch nicht danach gefragt). Wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss buchen.
