The hosts were terrific and very helpful. I would return.
Pros:

It was very pretty and centrally located.

Cons:

The fact that we were there during the town fiesta when fireworks were set off at 5 am.

I highly recommend Hotel Libéria and would not hesitate to return.
Pros:

Excellent location, caring owners were on site , breakfasts were fresh and healthy - everything was outstanding.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have hot water in the bathroom
It that is something that the hosts are planning to bring in with future upgrades.

Erholsamer Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung
Pros:

Schönes Hotel mit wunderschönem Innenhof. Freundliche Atmosphäre. Ich habe mich sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Edwin und Mario waren äusserst zuvorkommend und haben sich gut um die Gäste gekümmert.

Cons:

Eine heisse Dusche wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten war alles bestens.

Lived Hotel Liberia!
Pros:

This is a beautiful facility, great location and we really enjoyed meeting the proprietors Edwin and Marisol, who gave us a lot of information about all that was going in in Liberia.

Cons:

Nothing, one of our best stays in Costa Rica - great way to finish the trip! Big 'Thank You' to the hosts for such hospitality.

L'accueil. L'emplacement. L'amabilité d'Edwin, l'hôte. La propreté (c'était impeccable). L'ambiance de sérénité qui règne dans la place.

Cons:

Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude à mon avis.

100% I will be staying in Hotel Liberia the next time I'm in Costa Rica.
Pros:

It was a pleasure to meet Edwin! He is a kind-hearted family man who has surrounded himself and the hotel with good people. Edwin gave me excellent directions to the best places to eat nearby. And the breakfast he made for me before I had to fly out was delicious and filling.

A true hidden gem in the heart of Liberia!
Pros:

This charming hotel offers a perfect blend of historic convenience and peaceful tranquility. Locations is fantastic. Exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend it!

No hot water, but who needs it when the temperature outside is over 30 C lol

Edwin and family were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Convenient historical location, and yet quiet.
The hotel was charming -the open lobby with coffee and water available was inviting, and the shady courtyard ‘s flowers and trees were beautiful.

Super Gastgeber, schönes Hotel. Empfehle es sehr weiter.
Pros:

Der Gastgeber Edwin war sehr freundlich und äusserst hilfsbereit. Selten so ein toller Gastgeber erlebt. Die Lage ist gut, hat einige Shops und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe. Würde die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Alles super.

Bel emplacement mais chambre trop petite, pas d'eau chaude et prix petit-déjeuner excessif
Cons:

- il est indiqué dans le descriptif : bouilloire, armoire ou penderie, coin repas dans CHAQUE chambre, ce qui est FAUX
- nous sommes arrivés en avance (vers 13h) nous avons déposé nos bagages et le propriétaire nous a demandé l'équivalent de 10 euros (5000 colones) pour enregistrer sans attendre 14h, nous avons refusé.
- le problème de manque d'eau chaude n'apparait que dans les commentaires clients, ce qui n'est pas normal
- je ne reprends pas les autres commentaires (chambre minuscule, petit-déjeuner trop cher pour le contenu)

Not much to see in downtown Liberia. If you are staying overnight to fly out of Liberia, stay near the airport instead.
