Good price and great value for the money, very comfortable bed and clean.
Pros:

Comfortable and clean in a nice location.

Cons:

There was a huge problem with the TV
But the staff (Emma) who was onsite went above and beyond to help get the TV working:)

The bed was very comfy, the room space was fair.

Cons:

Found a botle lid betwen the bed and the side table, another one in the toilet cabin, broken elements of shawer head on the floor the sink weren't clean and the lid was block, i couldn't open.

Pros:

We stayed here as a budget option for participating in recent Great North Run. Given reviews lately, I was a little worried.
Yes, we had an issue getting in. Jay was on hand via ring go and sorted it pronto.
Our room wasn't quite ready as caretaker had taken ill and needed a hospital visit. But he was back on duty later and sorted everything.
Sheets and towels were fresh out laundry and smelled amazing. We booked the family room, and it was spacious and pleasant. Couldn't find ordinary tv, but there was a channel that allowed you to link your devices, and you could log into netflix or Prime, so we had a lovely netflix night.
It could have been a bit cleaner and fresher but absolutely acceptable. Didnt use communal area but had a nosey and they looked fine. There is lots of potential to spruce it up and raise its star level. Is it 5 star no. Did I pay 5 star prices? Also, no.
Good eating options in the village. Coletto lounge also provides plenty gluten-free, a requirement for us.

Cons:

As said, maybe a bit cleaner was a bit creaky, but it's an old house, that has the potential to be great, especially outside areas, with a bit tlc could be magic

Pros:

Location was pretty good. Getting into the property was easy

Cons:

The situation with the cleaner was ridiculous. I didn't get my room until around 7:30pm. The room was left dirty with used dishes and a disgusting bathroom until way after check in.

I didn’t use the kitchen or lounge area as I ate at the nearby Weatherspoons and left very early to help my family move

Location was central and close to places to eat and shop

Cons:

There’s an unmarked downward step at the entrance that I didn’t see and missed. Ow!

No hand towels and no bath towels so couldn’t have a shower or dry hands and face. Only saw a notice saying you could request ADDITIONAL towels etc. moments before I left early the next morning. So presumably towels are intended to be provided.

Light bulb in bedside lamp next to double in room 2 needed replacing. Made do with my torch to find my way to bed once I’d switched main light off.

Pros:

Really lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle.

Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.

Room key was not in lock box when I arrived. Staff did not answer doorbell when rung. My room had no towels. Might be because I took key from room door when arriving early.

Great location good kitchen and facilities

Cons:

No working TV in our room. We did get internet channels like Netflix for a while but then the internet stopped working about 9.30pm. No milk or coffee in our room but did have kettle cups tea and sugar. We had our own so not the end of the world. Check in info was unclear but lovely local manager sorted us out.

Pros:

Lovely building and fantastic sitting room for guests. Kitchen amenities also available.

Bedroom well appointed but leaking shower needed looked at.

Housekeeping assistant came to each room in early evening to check we were all happy. Nice touch.

Would definately stay here again. Valie for money.
