Unfortunately, my experience at Sarisa Hotel was very disappointing.

First of all, the room temperature cannot be adjusted. Even in winter, the room was uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to sleep.

Secondly, the toilet had a bad smell because the ventilation system was not working. This is a basic hygiene issue and should never happen in a hotel.

Thirdly, the room phone did not work. I reported this to the staff and was told it would be fixed the next day, but it never was. This is a serious concern, especially in case of an emergency, as I was unwell at the time and could not contact reception.

Regarding payment, despite having paid in advance, the staff tried to charge me again, claiming it was due to an internal error. Their handling of payments was inefficient and unprofessional, and they also attempted to overcharge me. If guests are not very careful, the exchange rate used by the hotel is extremely unreasonable.

The breakfast was very limited and did not meet basic expectations.

Finally, the cancellation policy is extremely rigid. I had two bookings with a four-day interval. Due to my poor experience, I wanted to cancel and move to another hotel, but cancellation was not allowed and I was forced to pay the full price, which left me no real choice but to stay.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many alternative hotels in the area that offer better comfort, service, and value for money.
