Pros:

Очень уютный отель , в отдалении от дороги. Все чисто, приятный персонал , вкусные завтраки! Чувствуешь себя самым любимым гостем. Бар с самыми вкусными коктейлями на острове ))
В 7 минутах пешком кайфовый пляж Кабалана.

Sehr schöne Gesamtanlage. Toller Pool Bereich. Sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Ein paar mehr Liegen am Pool wären top ;) Zum Beach muss man ein Stück an der Straße entlang, aber alles machbar.

Всё красиво! Всё очень вкусно 🤤 отдельная благодарность повару. Красиво, уютно, приятно. Рады были практиковать йогу на руфтопе с видом на джунгли и просыпаться по звуки природы. Расположение отеля очень удобное!

Все очень понравилось, номер светлый и чистый. Понравилось большое зеркало, идеально для красивых селфи, хах.
Вежливый персонал, мне шли навстречу с любыми просьбами - и тарелку дать, и ключ от соли очистить, что угодно.
Также есть возможность заказать трансфер из/до аэропорта.
Также очень понравилась территория отеля, ухоженная и приятная, милые домики, тропинки, цветущее дерево, бар с кофе и прочими напитками, небольшое, но очень вкусное меню.
Красивый и чистый бассейн, с удовольствием в нем поплавала. Отель небольшой, так что очень велик шанс поплавать в нем в полном одиночестве с утра, кайф.
Также ходила на йогу, она проводится по понедельникам и средам на площадке в отеле, тоже очень здорово! Русскоязычная тренер по йоге провела чудесное занятие.
В отеле много русскоязычных в целом, это плюс, если нужна помощь по каким-либо вопросам.
В пешей близости от отеля прекрасный пляж Kabalana beach, длинный и широкий. Можно и поплавать с удовольствием, и для серфинга для начинающих отлично подходит. B пешей близости есть еще несколько вкусных кафешек.

Cons:

Нюанс для тех, кто не водит байк - отель расположен чуть поодаль от аптек, магазинов, пунктов обмена денег и тд. Чтобы добраться до этих мест, нужно брать туктук, поездка займет минут 4-5. Пешком не доберешься, главная улица Ахангамы совсем не предназначена для прогулок пешком.
Вода в номере чаще лилась из крана не горячая, а еле теплая. Это не так критично, это в целом специфика острова.

Pros:

Уютный красивый отель, расположен вдали от шума дороги, до пляжа Кабалана 10 минут пешком. Номера чистые и просторные, классная зона с бассейном в окружении пальм. Персонал внимательный, уборка раз в 2-3 дня или по запросу. Останавливались на неделю, 100% реко в этом районе Шри-Ланки.

We stayed at the lum for 8 nights, and the place truly became a home for us.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent—about 5-minute walk from the beach in Cabalena.
The property is spotlessly clean, and throughout the day you can see the staff working hard to maintain the high standard.

The restaurant staff is wonderful! Vera, Shashi, Lucy and Dasun were sweet, welcoming, attentive, and helped us with everything we needed.
The staff didn’t have much information about the surrounding area, but they did help us order tuk-tuks.
The food at the Lum is excellent!! High-quality cuisine.
We stayed in a large family room, which was lovely. Overall, the entire place is beautifully designed—pleasant and very family-oriented.
There is a great games corner that kept our child happily occupied throughout our stay.
It’s important for me to mention - we decided to extend our stay by one extra night, and only a small room was available. Dima, the owner, went out especially to buy an extra mattress for us so we could fit comfortably in the room, and we truly appreciated this gesture.

Cons:

The hotel staff is not physically present or easily available. During the day, the only staff you meet is the restaurant team, and communication with the hotel staff was mainly via WhatsApp.
The pool is cute, but it is completely exposed to the sun with no shade at all, which makes it difficult to use during the day.
Our room was directly above the restaurant, so it was a bit noisy at the evenings (only until 9 pm). I believe the other rooms are significantly quieter.

Pros:

The hotel itself is nice. I chose this hotel for my last two nights in Sri Lanka because I wanted to treat myself to a nicer place.

Cons:

Check-in was around 3 p.m. I was shown to my room, given the key, and my bag was brought to the room by staff. The room was larger than I expected based on the photos, but I assumed the hotel simply had different room categories, so I didn’t question it. The real problem happened later that night. I went out for dinner and returned around 9 p.m and went to bed. While I was already sleeping, the staff knocked on my door and woke me up. When I opened the door, they told me they had given me the wrong room and that other guests had arrived.
At nearly 10 p.m., being woken up and told to pack my bags and change rooms is completely unacceptable! If there was a mistake, it should have been communicated earlier in the day or handled the next morning. I highly doubt anyone was arriving at that hour, and regardless, this situation showed a lack of respect for the guest. I was exhausted, upset, and honestly shocked. I have never experienced anything like this before.

For Sri Lanka, this hotel is definitely not cheap, so I did expect a higher level of professionalism and consideration. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed.
