Excellent Stay Once Again!
Pros:

This was my second time staying at Hotel Bougainvilla, and it was even better than before! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the food is absolutely fabulous. It’s clear that everything has improved since my last visit — from the service to the overall atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

It could’ve been better
Pros:

The swimming pool was great, the plants were also good, and the service was good.

Cons:

There was a scary dog in the main entrance which scared the kids, and not to mention that there was a man that made my wife move away from her seat just for another person?!

Pros:

Beautiful hotel environment with garden and bungalows. Very nice staff, always helpful. Great room facilities, everything you need. Clean and cozy. Large room and spacious balcony. The entire hotel area is clean and spacious. There is peace and quiet from the surrounding street. I definitely recommend visiting.

Very Disappointed
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

We didn't have hot water, and the bathroom needs improvement. The kitchen area needs proper cleaning.
You need to travel at least 2 km to the nearest beach . There is no air conditioning in the living room , so it was so hot during the day. The owner or the staff didn't show much interest in resolving our issues. It seems like tourists from Germany have a special arrangement with the owner, and they are probably offered the better rooms. This is the worst hotel I ever stayed .

Fantastic day in Hotel Bougainvilla
Pros:

It was wonderful day for me. Room is really comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Garden is really nice, clean and well maintained.
Meals were really tasty and worth for price.
I recommend this property .

Cons:

Bentota is not the best area to stay for younger people. The hotel is like an elderly residence. Very dark and very expensive. We paid 50€ for a double room. Bathroom was full of mosquitos.

AC not working and not enough. No Hot water . Staff doesn't know English. We had taken 4 rooms but in only one room AC was working.Breakfast option is very less . overall Stay was not comfortable.

While checking out, I had to pay in cash as they refused to accept VISA card.
Pros:

Hotel is full of trees and greeneries. It has a clean sweeming pool.A very quiet ambience.The hotel owner was very helpful. Ideal for retirees.

Cons:

Slightly away from the market area. Breakfast is simple. The restaurant staffs need training to serve the customers properly.

Unforgettable stay at Bougainvilla Hotel
Pros:

Firstly i would say, the staff was really helpful,cheerful and friendly, also Garden was really clean and well maintained. My Room was really clean and comfortable. I have seen a bad review on booking.com about rooms in bougainvilla Hotel, because of that I had little bit afraid to stay there. But when I was there ,I realised that comment was wrong. Because Room was really nicely arranged and no any bad smell comes. They used fresh flowers to decorate my room too.
Also ,specially I need to say about meals in bougainvilla. It was really delicious and well cleaned. I really need to stay there once again.
