Clean and modern inside. Hrest staff
Pros:

Breakfast not included
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The front of the building does not show well but inside is modern. The patio área is nice but is still getting ongoing improvements.

Exceptional
Pros:

Great place to stay to explore Playa del Carmen. The busy streets are at a walkable distance but far enough so that the place is quiet at night. We also really liked the quiet beaches on the northern side of town where this place is located.

Fabulous hosts, great outside space and good value for our long stay
Pros:

You will not find a nicer hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be - including a welcome breakfast at Asaias' restaurant (great food at super prices) Luis, Isaias and Jenny are fluent in English and responded quickly to our requests and suggestions which included installing a larger refrigerator, perfect for our 5 week stay. It was fabulous to have a large outside courtyard We enjoyed sitting and having meals under the umbrella. Internet was fast and reliable, as was the hot water in the shower. Fruit, juices and local food within a block away and 5th Ave for easy access to beaches, restaurants and walks further downtown. Basic but great value for money and weekly cleaning a bonus.
