Arenal Monara

The location was fantastic, just on the edge of town. Our room and balcony had a view overlooking the volcano. Armando put fruit out in the morning, so we had a wide variety of birds to watch right from our balcony! The room was very spacious and clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel next-door, which was excellent. And the complementing night tour provided by Armando was amazing!

The location on the edge of town was perfect! With the forest and mountain view and wide variety of wildlife, what more could you ask for?
Only a few minutes walk into town for groceries, restaurants, coffee shops.
The room was extremely nice with a big veranda looking into the forest and a view of the Volcano.

Super Lage am Rand der Stadt und trotzdem zentral. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern. Unser Ausblick auf den Vulkan war wunderschön! Die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr nett und aufmerksam
Das Frühstück im benachbarten Hotel mit Blick in den Garten war ebenfalls ein Highlight!

Spacious, comfortable bed, good shower and ample dedicated parking. Great location a very short walk to town yet also feeling rural and relaxing. The large balcony was the best though with a perfect view of the volcano and a wide selection of birds constant visitors to the feeders below. Also complete with tea making facilities, a fridge and comfy sofas, fab place for breakfast or a relaxing glass of wine later on. Angela was a wonderful hostess ensuring your stay is comfortable, and Armando is the best wildlife guide we had while in Costa Rica. Really recommend his sloth tour. We saw both 2 and 3 toed sloths, monkeys, bats, and various lizards and birds. Fantastic experience. Really enjoyed the frog tour after dark too.

Très bon accueil, très belle vue sur le volcan, chambre très confortable

Lieve eigenaren waarmee je voornamelijk app contact hebt. Goede bedden, mooi balkon met bankstel, tafel, koelkast en aanrecht met koffie en thee faciliteiten. Verder mokken, schaaltjes, bestek aanwezig. Alles schoon. Rustige plek om van daaruit Fortuna te verkennen. Veel vogels in de omgeving. Met Armando ‘s avonds op zoek naar kikkers en je kunt o.a. een luiaardtour met hem doen.

Uns hat alles gefallen. Es war die beste Unterkunft die wir hatten in Costa Rica. Alles tiptop. Angela und Armando sind wirklich tolle Gastgeber. Armando hat für uns noch eine kostenlose tolle Nachtführung im benachbarten Garten gemacht. Vom Balkon aus kann man toll Vögel beobachten. Man jann den Pool des benachbarten Hotels mitbenutzen und dort auch frühstücken. Die Ausstattung der FeWo ist hervorragend.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Arenal Monara. Not only are the views from the rooms, of the volcano amazing, but the rooms are well equipped with everything that one would want, a fridge, coffee pot, coffee grounds, sugar, and much more. Its location is great as you are only a few blocks from the center of La Fortuna and all restaurants on the main road but just far enough to not be bothered by any noise. The hosts of the Hotel were by far the best part of the experience. They were warm and welcoming and willing to help in every way possible. Me and my family had a wonderful experience and could not recommend or envision a better place to stay in La Fortuna.

Man kann viele Vögel beobachten.
Armando hat uns Frösche, Leguan und Gekkos gezeigt. Ein Highlight unseres Urlaubs. Er hat uns unsere vielen Fragen ausführlich beantwortet. Wir werden diesen Ort nicht vergessen.

Great place to stay in La Fortuna - close to everything and very nice and comfortable. Great hosts too! Do the sloth tour with Armando - we saw 13 sloths and such a fun experience

Alles war super!

Quarto amplo e confortável. Ótimo chuveiro, linda vista para o vulcão e a natureza local, com tucanos e pássaros.

Angela et son mari sont fabuleux, très gentils et très accommodants !! La chambre est très propre et spacieuse avec de magnifiques vues sur le volcan et un bel espace de détente sur la térrasse pour bien le voir. Nous avons adoré voir les oiseaux au réveil qui venaient manger les bananes dans les arbres à côté. Merci aussi pour le night tour gratuit qui était super !!

Os quartos são bem espaçosos, com duas camas de casal. Os proprietários são muito atenciosos, sempre solícitos. O hotel está a aproximadamente uns 500 metros do centro de La Fortuna.
