Pros:

Very quaint and private interiors with beautiful furnishings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the terrace each morning was lovely.

Cons:

The central court yard, what seems like it would be a beautiful place to enjoy in the evenings, echos within the area. While checking in at 10pm, another guest came to complain about the noise as she had an early flight.

Outstanding hotel located close to city centre
Pros:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Materia and would recommend it to anyone visiting Oaxaca City. Jay and the other staff were very friendly and were quick to give me advice on where to eat, transport, etc. The room was extremely clean and comfortable I loved breakfast each morning on the rooftop.

Cons:

The only minor issue: staff were sometimes unaware guests were waiting on the rooftop at breakfast time.

Amazing
Pros:

We wanted to treat ourselves to a nicer room to rest up and it was brilliant. We had our own patio where breakfast was served. And a very comfortable room.

After we checked out we could keep our bags there untill late. Our tour from hierve del agua was delayed and we only got back at 21:00. That was no problem. And we could use their bathroom still to change.

Jay is a very considerate and nice person. He helped us alot and is super easy to reach on WhatsApp.

We also stored our bags there in the morning before check in without any problem.

Cons:

There was one window that didn't have a curtain. The light in the morning woke us up a bit sooner than we wanted.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo in una struttura incantevole. L’accoglienza e le attenzioni di Jay sono state la ciliegina sull
Pros:

La struttura tipicamente messicana con corte centrale, l’arredamento molto curato, la pulizia e la tranquillità, la cortesia e disponibilità del personale. Inoltre, si trova a due passi dal centro e dai migliori ristoranti della città.

Cons:

Tutto perfetto, solo avremmo preferito poter aprire la finestra e avere il lavandino nel bagno invece che in camera. Ma sono stati piccoli dettagli che non hanno influito sul soggiorno per il resto perfetto.

Fantastic location, lovely decor, friendly staff.
Pros:

This was our favorite stay in Mexico. Wonderful location to explore Oaxaca, spacious room, hot shower (with water pressure!) and friendly staff. the included breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit up on the rooftop each morning to enjoy it. We made use of the laundry service which was efficient and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Windows didn’t open for fresh air.

Pros:

Hotel ma tylko 4 pokoje więc jest bardzo cicho i spokojnie. Śniadania bardzo smaczne i urozmaicone. Natomiast na największy plus zasługuje personel który bardzo sprawnie odpisuje na wiadomości i potrafi wszystko załatwić aby gość nie musiał się stresować np. Praniem, wcześniejszym śniadaniem czy taxi na lotnisko.
