Pros:

This is a cosy stay that makes you feel at home. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. We extended our stay after just two nights because it was convenient and comfortable. Air-conditioning was good. We didn't try the TV. Staff made sure we had fresh hot water and a tea-tray every day. We were welcome to come and go as we pleased, and all our needs were accommodated for.

Cons:

The building is old and has the typical problems as a result. It needs some TLC. My room did not have hot water. The rooms were clean and comfortable but needed airing. The bathroom door did not close properly without locking. A deep clean for dust and also regular room service (providing fresh towels and bathroom paper roll daily) is a good idea. We slept with windows open because we needed fresh air. Again, that's just a problem with old buildings.

It is so nice, comfortable, because Mas Tono help a lot, he allow me to boil egg to the kitchen.

Perfect for a short stay with great restaurant choices along the street and easy access to Prambanan and Borobudur

Pros:

Amazing place, staff was super helpful and kind. Perfect location-walking distance from everything you need. Be prepared to wake up at 4:40 every day since the mosque is only 30m away, so you hear the prayers very loud.

I would struggle to call the place a hotel. Perhaps a hovel.
Pros:

I liked nothing.

Cons:

Everything.

Ridiculously cramped rooms.
The drain kept getting clogged.
There was no hot water pressure. At one point the hot water just stopped working.
The place was full of ants.
No toiletries provided except for really bad soap, no disposable slippers or brushes or anything.
The AC had a constant droning sound and barely worked.

Great stay!
Pros:

Clean, good beds, working AC, good WiFi. We liked the location. Many (western) restaurants around and a great bakery close by. They bring some hot water and coffee/tea outside of your room in the morning, so we could start our day with a cup of coffee in bed. Great service!

Cons:

Our shower did not have a lot of water pressure, but totally fine for the 3 nights we stayed.
