Vermilion Inn

The room was clean, the area was safe.

Felt dirty, more for single people not for families.

This property was not Vermillion but actually Roadway Inn. The front office staff didn’t speak English. The room was very old and dirty. The A/C was NOT effective. The bed was clean and comfortable but we left without even showering bc it was gross. I made the reservation online and included the fact I had a dog. I paid online and then was charged another $20 at check in for my dog.

The floor had not been vacuumed, and there was hair in the sink. The battery to the remote was low and it didn't work. There wasn't a control panel for the air conditioner, so I couldn't cool the room down. The bed was was clean and comfortable. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

Great little hotel with restaurants walkable

The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and even opened up early for us to get ice, and it was quiet. A little disappointed that the hot tub was not open, other than that the stay was great!

Gave me room with known and obvious issue. No tv remote, tv and dish box unpluged. They came plugged everything back in and bought remote. After a few minutes tv came on, but remote or controls on tv didn't work. Went to office again, person at desk said he'd take a look at it. HE NEVER DID! Owners take no pride in this property. They only care about your money. Once you check in you're out of luck. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL.

The room had all the necessities, parking was easy, the staff was kind and helpful.

Toilet seat was broken, stains on sheets, plug in for hair dryer had been blown out and was black like it had been fried and hair dryer was black and melted around the blower. Would not recommend and will not stay there again. Only reason we did stay there is because there was very limited availability in the area.

Not clean. Pool did not look like the picture and was closed. Worn out rooms and people permanently living there. The shower was disgusting with mold and shower head held together with tape.

The Expedia rating on this hotel was way too high, given the condition of the property. It was extremely rundown and damaged, the tub and shower didn’t work properly, and it looked like the door. Safety latch had been pried open from someone trying to break in. Definitely should not have been rated as high as it was.

It was pretty worn down and the pool was closed by the health department. Just needed someplace to stop for the night and it was cheap.

Lots of junk around the property and the pool and spa were closed however it was advertised as having both

Cancelled because of weather and my classic1953 ford truck has no windshield wipers I realize no refund maybe next time thanks

Place was a dump, paid for two kings got two queens room smelled like animal real bad. Overall hotel felt ghetto will never stay there again.

Mis read reviews before booking. This place is an old rode way inn. Signage hasn't changed. The room smelled horrible. I asked to see a room before checking in. The one showed me wasn't all bad upon quick glance. So I checked in. The owner barely spoke english. The front office smelled. I put my bags in the room a noticed the danke smell of the room. I tried turning on the AC to clear the smell. After returning after dinner the smell hadn't cleared. Upon further inspection the room hadn't been thoroughly cleand in a long while. Due to the price you can tell there are weekly/monthly residences. And they didn't give me a vote of confidence for safety from theft. Decided to book a room elsewhere. Guess I am out the money for my mistake on reading the reviews incorrectly here.
