They double booked us and told us to go away. We had booked this property over 6 months ago! Access to this property is horrendous as the slope is dangerous. We are still waiting for compensation after having to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute, which cost us more money. Do not stay here.
Casetta stupenda, pulitissima e profumatissima. La famiglia che ci ha accolto molto umile e gentile. Minù, la figlia, stupenda. Avremmo voluto rimanerci per sempre.

The room and interiors are very good and well maintained. It’s very clean as well.
The approach to the property of around 300m is not accessible to cars. You need to either walk or take a tuk tuk. The owner does offer tuk tuk drop n pickup from the main road but still it’s out of Ella town and there are construction going on around which makes it a noisy place. The prayer sound from the Buddha temple is loud early in the morning at 4am and disturbs the sleep. There is no view from the room as it’s covered by trees and the mountain is barely visible. The breakfast had some dog hairs in it and we couldn’t eat after seeing that.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und auch der Balkon ist top. Das Bad ist in Ordnung nur der Wasserdruck ist ein wenig schwach. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett!

Was meant to stay for 2 nights and loved it so much stayed another night. The family who run the guesthouse are so lovely and kind. They are always so nice and welcoming and their daughter was very cute practicing her English with us. They really make you feel like you’re part of their home and we loved the place, the breakfast was so much food and so nice everyday. The best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka for sure. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ella.
Nothing the place was amazing. Only small thing is it’s a little bit out of the town but easily accessible with a tuk tuk ride.
We had such a nice stay here! The family was lovely and the dad even helped us to repair our tuktuk. The room was clean and up to hotel standards with comfortable beds and a nice bed room. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and we got served an amazing breakfast there.

I had the pleasure of staying in this incredible accommodation. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautiful, but what took my breath away was the stunning view!
The real gem, however, is the wonderful family who runs this place. This place is perfect for anyone looking for tranquility, beauty, and genuine kindness. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka – it’s not just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience!
A lovely host family and a clean, modern cottage. It gives you a treehouse-like feeling, sleeping in nature.
The property is a bit far from town, and tuk-tuks didn't always want to pick us up (though the return trip was never an issue). We had to walk along the road, which can be busy and less pleasant after dark.

Just the location was little steep to walk but they provide tuk tuk which was very good other than that , it is a beautiful place to stay.
It was a really lovely cabin, the breakfast was really good and the view was great.
Unfortunately I didn’t quite realise the location, it’s down a really steep hill and really no chance of walking up that. It’s rather frustrating there are no local restaurants nearby and you have to go to main Ella road. Which would be OK however, because of the location it was hard to find a tuk tuk driver to come back, also they will not take you all the way down. It’s really dark, can be dangerous and definitely not safe a woman to be walking around alone like that. If you are a couple or friends this would be OK but solo travellers probably not.
