Excellent location, good housekeeping, but disappointing front desk service, poor maintenance, and a breakfast that fall
Pros:

The hotel’s location is excellent - truly one of its strongest points. It is only a five-minute walk from Geneva’s main train station (just one stop from the airport), with supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés conveniently nearby.

The room was generally clean, and the housekeeping staff did a very good job. They were friendly, efficient, hardworking, and paid attention to the small details, which I really appreciated.

Cons:

Let’s start with the biggest disappointment: the front desk staff.

As someone who travels frequently around the world, I have honestly never experienced such poor customer service.

Before arriving, I requested two separate beds. When we entered the room, the beds had technically been separated, but they were still pushed directly against each other, making the request essentially meaningless. I politely asked if it would be possible to change rooms (even if I had to pay an additional fee). Instead of trying to help, the receptionist rolled her eyes, made dismissive facial expressions, and smiled sarcastically while insisting that I was wrong.

Later, when I asked for an iron, I was told to go to the sixth floor to get it myself, even though the hotel is able to deliver one to the room. Only after I explained that I needed to iron the clothes I was already wearing did the receptionist reluctantly agree, sighing before saying, “Fine, we’ll send it to your room.”

The hotel itself is also extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The photos I have attached clearly show its condition. Considering the price we paid, the value for money is simply not there.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the air conditioning did not work, the sink was damaged, and there was visible rust on many of the pipes and fixtures. The mini fridge didn’t work. Overall, the maintenance standards are very poor.

Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was very limited, with no fresh vegetables available. If you wanted something as basic as an omelet, you had to pay extra. For three consecutive mornings, my breakfast consisted of little more than bread and eggs.

The only positive aspect of breakfast was the dining room staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

外観は普通ですが、内装がとても高級感があり素晴らしかったです！ジュネーブの中央駅からも五分ほどでとても便利でした。

Cons:

部屋からの景観は期待できません。ただ駅近なのでそもそも景観は必要なく、それ以上に内装が良かったです。

Le foto che mostrano sul sito sono assolutamente non veritiere. Ho prenotato una junior suite che aveva un arredamento originale degli anni 90, mai rinnovato, con moquette sporca e polverosa. Il bagno aveva una doccia con chiusura in plastica che neanche negli 90 sarebbe stata accettabile. Il tutto considerando che è un 4 stelle che si fa pagare decisamente molto più di quello che vale. Dopo aver fatto presente queste cose alla reception mi è stato risposto che la camera aveva comunque una dimensione da junior suite e che l’arredamento non conta….

Agreable mais Spa pas à la hauteur de l’hôtel
Pros:

Équipe sympa accueillante.
Déçus du spa très petit un banc brûlant dans le hamam du à la chaleur qui en sort directement (prévenir)
Très mauvaise odeur en arrivant due à des utilisateurs précédents visiblement très peu tournés vers L’hygiène (odeur de pipi wc sales)
Une ambiance tamisée dans le spa aurait été appréciée. Pas d’intimité prévoyez d’y aller seul ou à deux pas vraiment plus (réservez avant!)
Très jolie suite en revanche style rococo
Des cheveux retrouvés dans la douche par contre…
Globalement un agréable séjour

LE SPA sale wc hommes et très mauvaise odeur de pipi en arrivant, pas rangé serviettes jetées au sol et dans les lavabo… ménage pas fait

Pros:

Una experiencia espectacular de principio a fin. Al llegar nos recibió un señor tocando el piano en el hall, un detalle que hizo el ambiente muy especial y elegante. Todo el personal fue muy atento, especialmente João durante el check-out, que nos ayudó en portugués con una gran amabilidad. El servicio de aparcacoches fue excelente y la habitación era muy cómoda. Sin duda, un hotel al que volveríamos.
