The price fit the room I guess
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in all regards. We loved the food, beds, and showers. The rooms were inviting and comfortable and we enjoyed the AC through the heat wave

Cons:

The pool closed at 7 when the sun set at 10. We would’ve enjoyed a dip during this heat of July

Pros:

Beautiful. Lovely grounds to walk around. Great bartenders. Helpful valet and front desk staff.

Cons:

The AC was a bit sketchy. There was an odor on floor 1 that was unappealing.

Le cadre est magnifique et dans un endroit calme.La décoration intérieure de l’hôtel est soignée et de bon goût.La chambre est spacieuse et la literie très confortable

Cons:

Le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur de l’hôtellerie .L’espace est très bruyant,les plats ne sont pas raffinés comme on aurait pu s’y attendre.Le service a aussi été très long,1h d’attente entre l’entrée et le plat.

Pros:

The property was beautiful and accessible. The walking trails were perfect for before or after dinner walks. The rooms in the manor house were clean and so well decorated. Really gave a sense of the era.

We would stay again.
Pros:

We loved our room! The grounds were splendid and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

Fireworks that we didn't know were going to happen (a wedding) so woke us up, which left me very disorientated, as initially I didn't realise what all the 'banging' was.

Staff were particularly lovely.
Room was ready early when we arrived.
Ate in the Grill bar for lunch and dinner and the food was great each time.
Great selection at breakfast.
Had a fab pregnancy massage in the spa.

This lovely hotel is located about 15 minutes out of Kilkenny on a large, well-manicured estate. It also serves as a conference location. The premises are lovely, verdant, and contains lovely walking trails of various distances for exercise. The lobby is spacious with several different seating areas. The bedrooms were large and spacious with lots of closet space. The bathroom was topnotch. The breakfast had a good selection of dishes, all freshly prepared. The food was very good. We did not eat in the restaurant. The place is strongly recommended.
