Beautiful hotel near Kilkenny
Pros:

Fantastic staff who were extremely accommodating at every request. Large, well appointed rooms. Beautiful old house and grounds. Nice bar area with a big fire. Great location just outside Kilkenny.

Cons:

The spa costs 50 euro per person to use. The sauna was not working the day we went.

The breakfast was good

Cons:

We were at the hotel for a function and the room was so cold. Everyone was freezing pointed it out to staff twice during the evening. Nothing was done about it. Also there was a smell of sewage in our bedroom. We stayed in room 245

We have stayed here many times and the Lyrath never disappoints.
Pros:

The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with lovely views and very clean. The breakfasts are excellent with lots of choices. We had dinner in the hotel on one occasion which was very good. The staff are all delightful and very helpful.

Pros:

The property was beautiful with nice walking paths . The facility was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nice large bathroom with large tub. They have spa facility but didn’t have opportunity to use it. Large parking area that was free and easy to access

Großzügiges Zimmer, viel Natur, große Lobby, Livemusik, der Altbau!!!

Cons:

Zimmer keine 5 Sterne! Keine Lüftung im Bad, keine minibar, kein Wasserkocher, etc.
5 Sterne mit Deutschland nicht vergleichbar
