Not 5 Star - Distinctly Average
Pros:

I liked the lobby and the bed was comfortable. Cocktails in Grill on night 1 were beautiful.

Cons:

Both showers in the Spa were broken. You couldn't wash off after sauna. There were 2 saunas and steam rooms, only one was working.

There was a funny smell in the bedroom, like gas, could only be smelt on entry, then you got used to it.

Breakfast was poor. My wife ordered pancakes the second morning, they were pathetic, and presentation was awful. Eggs benedict on first morning was distinctly average.

Staff were fine. Lots of hellos but that didn't translate to going the extra mile. Requests were fulfilled. We asked for extra tea and water and it was fine.

Called room service for ice cream at 9:20pm. Ro service was only until 9pm. Was told chefs not working. Fair enough. No alternatives offered no light or brightness from young man who took the call.

Young gentleman in Tuppers Bar was extremely rude both days. Felt like a chore ordering from him. Did not feel welcome at all.
