Was good, but probably wouldn't stay again
Pros:

Great location in san pedro, easy to walk to everything and close to the water. Large lovely pool. Delicious buffet breakfast and coffee! The beds were very comfortable
Hot water to shower with!

Cons:

We had a private suite (14) they placed us right beside the pool and hostal bathrooms so we constantly had traffic and noise. When sitting on our patio we had to smell the bathrooms.

There was gum stuck to our floor in the bathroom.

Honestly, it seems this is a very nice resort but it needs some upgrades for the price paid.

Great stay in a quiet part of San Pedro. Walkable distance to main area.
Pros:

The dorms were really nice, the breakfast was amazing! Overall a great stay 😊

Cons:

They didn’t have soap in the dorm room bathrooms, hopefully this is something they can add.

Pros:

Ontbijt was prima, veel keuze en lekkere koffie. Heerlijk zwembad om bij te chillen met uitzicht over de lake.

Cons:

De uitleg bij het inchecken viel wat tegen, je kreeg niet automatisch een handdoek, ontbijt moest je een kaartje voor krijgen maar waren ze vergeten.

Heel mooi resort, met mooi uitzicht en prima locatie!
Pros:

Heel mooi resort, super fijn dat er een budget optie is!! Ik verbleef in de dorm, mijn bedje was prima.
Zwembad is echt super mooi, en koud! Uitzicht is fantastisch.

Cons:

Ik was er met kerst en deelde de dorm een aantal nachten met een familie uit Guatemala. Wat op zich niet erg is. Maar dan maak je moeilijk vrienden.
De rest van het resort is 2 persoons, vaak stellen en toen ik er was ook veel locals. Leuk!! Maar zelfde verhaal. Of je moet goed Spaans kunnen.

Resort vibes, great breakfast, and comfortable dorm room! Would stay here again.
Pros:

Beautiful location, property, and comfortable place to enjoy, sleep, and explore Lake Atitlán. I would highly recommend this place. I initially booked two nights and wanted to stay there for 3 more (unfortunately it was fully booked so plan ahead!).

The pool area is great, with chilly water but it feels great after some time in the sun.

Plenty of bathrooms and showers are both in the dorm and by the pool. Everything was always clean.

The dorm has been upgraded to have privacy curtains in every bed! The pictures don’t show this yet but rest assured every bed gives you privacy. There were also deep lockers under the bed, a bit short in height but it worked.

Lastly, breakfast was great, you get a choice of eggs and a drink plus the buffet. I started my day great every time!

Cons:

Bring earplugs as the street noise can travel and last a bit into the night.

The dorm sink and bathroom doesn’t come with soap. You can ask the front desk for a towel but I kept forgetting.

The showers do get warm! But might be solar powered or something as after sunset you start to struggle to get it warm. Shower early if you can.

Pros:

Staff was nice and I like having drinks at the bar near the pool. Bathrooms were clean and showe had hot water/good pressure. Easy walk to the main strip of San Pedro.

Cons:

I ended up checking out after one night. The bed had ants in it, didn’t seem clean.

Pros:

L’emplacement est idéal, la vue depuis la piscine est à couper le souffle. Les portions servies dans le restaurants sont copieuses. Je vous recommande de séjourner dans le dortoir, c’était très confortable et le rapport-qualité prix était très bien !

Poor value for money
Pros:

The breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful. They organised drivers both to and from the accomodation

Cons:

Lights in the room constantly flicker from bright to very dim, this happened all night.
Walls are made of paper, very thin, can hear absolutely everything that happens around you sounds like people are in your room.
They give you earbuds, hence the bad reviews claiming they can hear everything, they blast music from 8am-9pm. Due to the lack of sound proofing the people who pay the most suffer the most with sound.
They said they would clean our room at 10am-11am and never did this.
Wifi is very poor and barely works.
The walkway to the rooms near the pool are in awful condition, very prone area to roll ankles or hurt yourself due to the huge spaces between tiles and the lack of filling between them.
This hotel definitely is a rip off and I would suggest paying mass amounts of money elsewhere because you are not getting what you paid for

Josefa is a fantastic point of contact for any questions, and the rest of the staff (like Kata) are also very friendly and competent! The resort has a beautiful pool, and the food and drinks are delicious. I stayed in one of the dorms and felt very comfortable there. The rooms are very clean. All in all, we’re very satisfied.

Great views, great service, clean space
Pros:

Staff were super helpful! Josefa and others helped me book a massage, stowed my luggage, and helped me book my bus back to Guate. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly.
