Great value, friendly service.
Pros:

Big rooms, kettle, aircon. Center of Thamel close to many attractions. Tasty dinner was included in room rate with both Nepali and western options.

Cons:

A little noisy at night as it's in an area with many clubs and pubs.

Pros:

Very friendly staff. The manager is very helpful with thinking with you for trekkings or organising bus trips. No pressure for buying anything through him. Soaps, tooth brush and free water is included.

Very good value for money ratio on this property. Outstanding location, close to good stores, bars and ATM.

A third place where you can relax and enjoy your time
Pros:

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely amazing, and the hospitality was outstanding.

I had the dal bhat, and it was clearly one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

I would especially like to thank Amrit (restaurant staff), Sudip (hotel owner), Surendra and Bobb
(hotel reception), and Sandip (restaurant staff).

All four of them were incredibly kind and gave us very helpful advice during our stay. Their warmth and genuine care made our experience even more special.

Highly recommended.
We truly appreciate the kindness we received here.

A lovely stay in Kathmandu.
Pros:

Trekkers Home has such lovely staff who welcome you, help you with your bags (up steep stairs) and try to accommodate your every need. The rooms are clean and mine was very comfortable with a very hot shower. Dinner was also provided at the Steakhouse Restaurant. The location is fantastic with lots of cafes around and walking distance to many things.

Cons:

It was mostly great. The bed was slightly dented but fine for me.
