Das beste Boutique Hotel in Holbox, mit schönster , sauberer Strand, immer freundliche Personel. Nicht nur das Frühstück war sehr gut sondern der Restaurant für Dinner war auch sehr zum empfehlen.
O café da manhã não é buffet e sim "a la carte", com duas opções de pratos, frutas, sucos e café. Tudo gostoso. A localização é excelente, a pousada é charmosa, os funcionários muito educados e simpáticos e a comida e drinks do restaurante são muito gostosos.
Especificamente o quarto em que fiquei, Agave, era muito barulhento. Ele é virado pra rua e apesar de não haver trânsito de carros da ilha, há trânsito intenso de motos logo cedo pela manhã.
As someone who always does a very deep dive into the accommodation options when I go away, my husband and I could not have been happier with Hotel Mawimbi.
Perfect location: a short stroll to the main square and port, and the beach on our doorstep.
Wonderful hotel: a real toes in sand experience - you could literally not wear shoes for a week. Very romantic, nice room, air conditioned, safe box, very comfortable bed and the softest of sheets. Always very clean with 2x services a day.
Great food - we ate breakfast and lunch there most days - and brilliant cocktail menu (even though I mainly stuck to the Mariachi as it was so so good!)
Incredible staff: they couldn't have made us feel more welcome or at home. Big shoutouts to Marcia, Bruno, Facuna, Moses, Elliot and Goradito (so sorry if any spelling mistakes there!) A real credit to the hotel, thank you for making our time so amazing.
In short, I would recommend it fully and wouldn't even shop around next time we go to Holbox - it's just gotta be Mawimbi!
Really not a big deal, but a bonus would have been to have a fridge in the room (though I should add that drinking water was provided in a large thermos so was always cool, and refreshed on the second turn down).

El alojamiento es realmente muy hermoso, nos quedamos 6 noches y fue espectacular. La ubicación es inmejorable, en la mejor zona de la playa y cerca del centro. El personal es muy simpático, le dejamos un saludo especial a Salva ❤️. Lo recomiendo totalmente !
Sería bueno tener un minibar o heladera en la habitación. Entraban algo de ruido de la calle en la noche

Poche camere, cura al cliente. Lenzuola pulite, aria profumata, pulizia della camera due volte al giorno, servizio ristorazione eccellente. 2 cuscini soffici al punto giusto. L’acqua dei piedi sul bordo delle scale per tenere tutto pulito e ordinato. Giardinieri che lavorano tutto il giorno per setacciare la sabbia. Il posto è una favola, persone sorridenti, il mare colore del cielo e i cagnolini dei proprietari in giro per la spiaggia tutto il giorno. Note: personalmente raccomando mance ai camerieri che sono semplicemente eccezionali, pagare in aggiunta il servizio non mi ha disturbata. Greetings from the grey Zürich!! Mi sono sentita a casa.

We loved literally everything about Mawimbi. The people at the front desk made life so easy by making reservations around the island for us, scheduling a taxi as needed, and being extremely friendly. Likewise, the rest of the staff was so nice. Never in our lives have we truly felt like we were at home while being on vacation. The staff felt like real friends to us, gave us suggestions on how to enjoy our vacation, and consistently made sure we were having a good times. You truly cannot go wrong by staying at Mawimbi. Additionally, the rooms have great A/C, direct beach access, on-site restaurant, and you're just far enough away from the clubs for things to be tranquil and quiet, yet close enough that a 3 minute walk gets you where the parties are at if you're into that.
Everything was perfect. I couldn't pick out a negative thing to say if I tried. Great staff, great location, all so friendly. We were genuinely sad to leave this place when it was time to return home.
