Family-run, new and well-equipped accommodation near the beach
Pros:

We spent four wonderful nights here and truly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is brand new and very, very clean. The high ceilings create excellent air circulation, and both the room and bathroom are very spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished. In the room, there is a small counter with a coffee maker and everything you might need. From our room’s balcony, we had a lovely view of a palm garden.

The beaches there are clean and not overcrowded. You can take wonderful walks along the shore or go swimming. There are several beach bars along the beaches.

The breakfast was exceptional – generous, varied, and absolutely delicious.

Our host, Janee, is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He took the time to explain the different fruits and local dishes to us and supported us with our travel planning. A great advantage is that he drives his own tuk-tuk, making it easy and convenient to reach any destination quickly and without hassle.

One evening, Janee’s mother and sister treated us to an incredibly delicious, home-cooked dinner that we’ll never forget.

We felt at home immediately with that warm and kind- hearted family and can recommend this accommodation 100% without hesitation.

Cons:

The railway line is not far from the accommodation, so you can hear the trains going by. However, this didn't bother us too much. I assume that the noise from the trains affects all accommodations in this area.

Exceptional
Pros:

Very good room, beautiful and delicious breakfest with fresh Juice, Very good service and nice and helpful owners. Everything is new, well decorated in colonial style, with huge bathroom. Close to the beautiful Beach and turtles. Highly recomended. Im prety sure I will stay here next time in Bentota.
