I cannot recommend this hotel more! Amazing location in the shore of Lake Titicaca with the best views. The cabins were comfy and well equipped with hammocks and outdoor furniture to enjoy the views too. We were warm and cosy through the night but there's also the open to have the log burner switched on, and hot water bottles are provided too. The shower was great and we loved that shampoo and conditioner was provided by request. The staff are all very friendly, especially the owner who made us feel so welcome. There is a 'common room" area with cooking facilities, drinking water, kettle etc - great place to chill after check out. There's even alpacas on site!

Sultan Suites is out of this world! Such a fantastic quirky place to stay. The staff were great, carried our bags to our room. Each suite is individual, ours had a hot tub bath in the room which didn't work very well but also had an amazing shower. Bed was very comfortable. Wood burning stove which the staff came and set and lit for you every night and stocked up the wood basket for you. Common room to hang out in which we used for a good few hours after check out and places to sit and enjoy the incredible view. Unlimited drinking water provided which is uncommon in South America. You have your own hammocks and chairs outside your room. The walk from town is steep (get a taxi for basically no money when you arrive with your luggage but fine for walking back and forth, we were worried about this from other reviews but it was fine if you take your time and are acclimatised. Games and books available for use at reception and they organise a taxi for you when you leave.
Would have loved to have breakfast available here but they had a kitchen set up in the room if you have your own food and there is a cafe restaurant next door which makes for very easy food availability.
+ Really friendly and helpful staff
+ The location and view are exceptional
+ The possibility to store your luggage and even have a shower after checkout
+ The common space stocked with the essentials
+ The little fireplace making the room super cosy
+ Great hot shower
+ Strong wifi
- the drain smell from the bathroom was really strong and spoilt our stay :(
- the bathroom and bed could do with a little upgrade
A beautiful stay in Copacabana. Staff are incredibly kind, the view is incredible and it's such a treat to relax in the sun with the alpacas. Also a few giant hummingbirds hanging around! Close walk into town (though up a hill which is hard with the altitude) and lakefront. Had everything we needed and the fireplace was a real treat.
Tuvieron siempre una conversación previa constante conmigo. El alojamiento es hermoso y se me permitió conocer todas las instalaciones. La vista desde la habitación es hermosa
This is a little paradise by the side of the lake. Firstly - yes, it is more expensive than most places here but you do get what you pay for. You will save money on everything else in Bolivia. I was very ill after drinking an api in La Paz so the peace and tranquility here was just what I needed to get well again. The cabins are small but very cosy and comfortable. Central heating AND a stove with free firewood every evening, lead to each night being very cozy. The staff were very friendly and there was also no messing around with different exchange rates for once, which was a big plus! The view is amazing and there are plenty of places to sit and relax around the property. I would ask that please, PLEASE do not go around grabbing the llamas by the neck as we saw some guests doing. So selfish. They are not toys for your enjoyment they are wild animals that are scared.
