Well located if you are going to party, not the best choice if you are on business trip
Pros:

- located in a very active area at walking distance to several restaurants, bars and attractions
- staff at the reception was nice and helpful

Large TV, convenient location

Cons:

Dirty room with numerous suspicious stains on the walls and ceiling. The wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom is transparent (only covered with frosted film), meaning you can clearly see exactly what someone is doing inside the toilet. The hotel is located in a shady alley, surrounded by questionable bars and people lingering around. Would not stay here again.

A good base to explore Jongno and Seoul
Pros:

A surprisingly decent hotel. Nothing to write home about, but was well located, relatively quiet and comfortable and clean. There was a water fountain on the ground floor which was very helpful. Also a coffee machine and microwave, which I didn’t use. The temperature was good, not too hot or too cold. I stayed in one of the bigger rooms so I had space to open my big suitcase.

Cons:

There can be some noise from the street sometimes because it’s in a popular area, and from other rooms, but nothing really bothersome, and the hotel is tucked in a small street, so you don’t have too much noise from the main street.

Cons:

The hotel was overbooked and we received the information 30 minutes before we went to check in. We really needed a place to stay, so we agreed to wait for the receptionist to find us a room in nearby hotels. They wanted to check us in in a love motel so in the end, the stay at the hotel was refunded by Booking and we had to find another accommodation on our own.

Posizione perfetta e atmosfera autentica a Seoul 🫰🏼🇰🇷
Pros:

La posizione è davvero perfetta. Dall’aeroporto di Seoul è sufficiente prendere il treno fino a Seoul Station e poi la metro linea 1, scendendo a Jongno 3-ga Station. Uscendo dall’uscita 2-1, l’hotel si trova a circa 50 metri: basta prendere la stradina tra il ristorante e la gioielleria. Comodissimo e facilissimo da raggiungere anche per chi arriva per la prima volta in città.
Nella stessa fermata passa anche la linea 3 e 5.

La zona è piena di street food, BBQ, ristoranti e caffè frequentati prevalentemente da coreani, quindi poco turistici e molto autentici. Si respira un’atmosfera vivace e genuina, perfetta per immergersi nella vita locale.

La stanza, pur non essendo enorme, è dotata di tutto l’indispensabile: asciugacapelli, shampoo, asciugamani, mini frigo e bollitore. L’essenziale per fare una doccia in tranquillità e riposare dopo una giornata in giro per la città.

Ho apprezzato molto anche la gestione delle pulizie: le camere non vengono rifatte automaticamente ogni giorno, ma ogni mattina viene lasciato un foglio in reception su cui indicare il numero della propria stanza se si desidera la pulizia o il cambio degli asciugamani. Una scelta intelligente che evita sprechi inutili.

Un ringraziamento speciale allo staff, sempre premuroso e disponibile per ogni richiesta; parlano molto bene inglese.

A place to stay if visiting Seoul again
Pros:

Second time staying at M&Lucky.
Great location. Very well connected to the airport bus 6002 which is located within 5 minutes walk. Bars and restaurants close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
