Great find
Pros:

Great location and lovely staff
Food in the restaurant very nice and breakfast facilities were good in the room

Cons:

No hairdryer available, so had to go and try and buy one. (We were going to a wedding the next day)
I appreciate that not everyone is responsible with electrical appliances, but if they had had one to hire then that would be a good option for unsuspecting guests travelling without a hairdryer.

Pros:

Convenient if you’re attending a wedding or event at Clearwell Castle as it’s just a short walk!.

Cons:

TV channels not working, not a huge issue but would be nice to have the TV working 😊.

Great public house with rooms and fantastic food and service
Pros:

Fantastic establishment located in a lovely village. We had a fantastic lunch as well as a great stay. The staff were really helpful and we would not hesitate to return.

Pros:

Great location/distance of the bar to the room. The room had a fridge which is always useful. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean. A very nice historical building.

Cons:

No mirror in the room area to get ready in. Only continental breakfast available. Which was a muffin, cereal bar, granola and yogurt. A bit basic but I guess it's better than nothing.

Great stay and had a good sleep, bed was very comfy.
Pros:

I booked the butchers arms as it was close to clearwell castle where I was attending a wedding. On arrival i was greeted with a friendly welcome, the room was small but had everything I could needed. Beds were comfy, had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I would return again, and this time enjoy the food in the pub that smelt so good.

Cons:

Breakfast was included in the room, which was yogurt, oats, muffins and cereal bar. Would have preferred other options, maybe a cooked breakfast/ toast.

We love coming back to the pub we used to visit often when we lived near, everyone is super friendly and welcoming.

Pros:

Kerry and Scott both Extremely friendly & helpful and made stay delightful both rooms very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing all exceptional and would definitely stay there again.

A lovely pub/restaurant with character offering great value rooms with everything you need for an overnight stay com
Pros:

What a lovely quirky place the Butchers arms is. It had a lovely country pub feel to it and the room was comfortable, clean and full of character. Staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you.
