Garden was good
Not clean. Has to remind to change pillows. Pillows were dirty.
Staff was not prompt.
AC was not functioning when we checked in - they finally repaired by 730 pm. But that’s still ok.
Biggest issues was cleanliness
OK
No hot water, no daily cleaning
Charming property with wonderful staff. The host, Rishi, is exceptional.
The property is quiet and secluded and there are only a few rooms. (I believe there are plans to build some more.) The architectural style is simple and serene.
The food, which may be taken in the central pavilion or on your verandah, is worthy of a special mention. It is beyond exquisite.
There was a wedding anniversary party while we were there with traditional dancing. Great fun!

Great people. Wonderful views great place to chill.
Excellent environmental ethos.
Lots of open grass space to sit and read and look at mountains as a break away from our trip round rajakstan.
Near Alwar Town with its old Palace and near tiger sanctuary.
View from balcony/porch/veranda limited by resturants.
Hadn't expected the untitled floor
Alwar is not a large city in India but, as most, is pretty noisy and busy. But Gramya resort is 11 kms from the center and it's a haven of peace and silence. It feels like you're in a different place. It's surrounded by fields, small villages and it's a feel for a more rural India. It's only 20 kms away from Sariska Tiger resort, so if you also want to do a bit of a 'safari' it's the right place to be (disclosure: we saw a lot of animals but the tigers were ellusive. And be prepared for the cold, as it's chilly in the mornings!)
The resort has only a few rooms/huts. They are very nice, spacious and comfy. There's a huge gazebo (or hut, not sure how to call it) for the dining area, and the food is FANTASTIC. They have their own garden and grow many of the items themselves. Every meal was a feast! We always asked Rishi to recommend us some dishes, and it was always a real treat to try something different.
We took breakfast every morning in our porch, or on the big piece of grass, under the sun... lots of parathas, lassies, yummy veggies. We just loved every bit.
It's easy to move around and explore the surroundings just even on foot or grabbing a tuctuc.
Rishi, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. He speaks impecable English and was always there to arrange anything needed, even before we arrived (he sent someone to pick us up from the station).
It was a pleasure to stay there for 3 nights. We loved it all!
We enjoyed our stay plenty! There were minor things that we pointed to Rishi and he already took note (small things like a small mat next to the bed, or a wiper for the bathroom shower) but just things to improve even more the experience.
