I went for a work conference which is actually around the corner so location was good for me.
Unfortunately, the service fell short of what I would expect from a five-star hotel.
The hotel was operating at full capacity due to the conference, and for that reason I booked the only room category available online, a twin room. Upon check-in, I requested a room with a double bed if one became available. I was assured that the team would look into it and get back to me, but nobody ever followed up on the request.
What was even more disappointing was discovering that the room was a connecting room, separated from the neighboring room by a locked internal door. The sound insulation was extremely poor; I could clearly hear the couple next door having normal conversations. The following day, I requested a room change because of this issue. Not only was my original request for a double bed never mentioned again, but it was clear that no note had been made of it. I was eventually moved to a non-connecting twin room, which was an improvement.
For me, luxury hospitality is about attention to detail, following up on guest requests, and going the extra mile. Unfortunately, this was lacking throughout my stay.
Another disappointing experience involved Guest Services. I called to request a travel adapter and was told by Mr. Pablo that none were available. While surprising for a hotel of this category, I accepted the situation. However, Mr. Pablo then advised me to personally go and check with the Concierge Team. When I asked why Guest Services could not simply contact their colleagues directly on my behalf, he suddenly informed me that the Front Desk actually had adapters available and one would be sent to my room.
Again, this is not about the adapter itself, but about service attitude and ownership. Guests should not have to coordinate between departments themselves. A five-star hotel should proactively assist its guests and ensure requests are handled efficiently.

I stayed last year and the security were more intimidating and unfriendly than last year. Also had to leave my room to order room service, neither kitchen nor concierge would answer the phone.
Rooftop bar cosmico did struggle with service. May items missing from the order, had to re-order with a different server and still wasn’t right. Had booked online, and was told the amount could be deducted from the bill, I was still expected to pay, but the bill was eventually sorted
Loved the hotel. Didn't like the adjacent waste facility and its aroma.
