Situated in a beautiful remote location, the property was warm and welcoming, with a great bar and restaurant. The haggis and black pudding pizza is a ‘must try’!

The Staff were all very friendly and helpful , Food was good and plentiful with the exception of Breakfast. The Room was compact but very comfortable with Tea/Coffee facilities.
Although located next to the main road it was quiet.

The Breakfast was disappointing
Served as a Buffet in a very cramped space - choice of Food varied depending on the number of people trying to serve themselves.
Only one price for Breakfast whether you had Continental or Full.
Staff were friendly and the food was really good. The room was a little small for two adults and a dog!

The room was very comfortable and the shower was good. The food at the restaurant was great and a good price - we had a really lovely evening!
Slight issue of walking outdoors from the rooms to the restaurant but we had raincoats so no real issues!

I’d booked a room with a terrace so I could vape comfortably outside but there was no outside light or table which was somewhat disappointing.
Our hosts kept everything running when storm Amy took the power out, including a hot breakfast.

Very friendly staff and great food. Beautifully clean, simple and straightforward accommodation for a sensible price.
The room itself was generally fine and we managed to sleep fairly well.
When we arrived, we were handed our key and an information sheet without a word. A group of people leaning against the bar, along with the two staff members working at the hotel, looked us up and down in an unfriendly way.
The bathroom was not up to standard: the ventilation vent was covered in dust and the shower needed to be unclogged.
The atmosphere of the hotel was unwelcoming. The check-out was just as cold as the check-in, and I had to look around several times before finding a staff member. Overall, the lack of hospitality was deeply disappointing, and we did not feel encouraged to stay for breakfast.
