My reception from Doreen was incredibly poor. When I mentioned the place was far further out than I imagined, and I was tired from the Camino, she went on about not being a walker and not believing in exercise. Three times. The outdoor sitting area was not as portrayed. The place looked cluttered and didn't include breakfast or kitchen access. I asked for 2 of the 3 nights to be refunded in my message and Gary threatened me. I've since received a barrage of threatening voice messages and emails from him and had to alter my review.

When I mentioned the place was much further out than I imagined, and I was tired from the Camino, she went on about not being a walker and not believing in exercise. Three times. Gary had agreed to provide some driver services and show me around, but he was out of town, and taxis are hit-and-miss, so I was worried about being stuck there with tension in the air. The outdoor sitting area was not as portrayed. The place looked cluttered and didn't include breakfast or kitchen access. I asked for 2 of the 3 nights to be refunded in a message, and he disparaged and threatened me. He's been harassing me over my reviews which include two back-to-back bookings. I have the harassing voicemails and emails I don't trust him one bit and didn't put in this complaint until I was safely out of town. I'd like a full refund and wish Booking.com would help.

The only thing missing from the overall excellent level of accommodation and service was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities due to safety concerns by the host due to a mishap with a previous guest. There was also no breakfast provided which might concern those wanting something to eat first thing in the morning. However the hosts were very happy for me to bring a takeaway meal back the night before and even provided me with a plate and cutlery to eat it. I wasnt too bothered with lack of breakfast as I had a folding bike with me and was able to ride into town in minutes after checking out to get some breakfast from the excellent Lazy Cat Cafe.

Everything was fine—clean, comfortable, basic but I was hiking The Kerry Way and it’s a bit far from the trail head—I imagine great location for some…

The substitute host was not warm when we could not find the location due to no signage in front of the house as we had a late arrival. We were sent a picture of house and house number which we could see on the front of the house. Other accommodations we have had in Ireland had signs in front of house so we were expecting to find it more easily. Also walls were thin as our voices carried through the walls which disturbed other guests. A table by each bed would have been helpful. Shower had a very small entrance but owner said he was going to replace for a larger shower.

It would be great to have a table with Kettle tea, coffee and milk in the room so that you didn't have to intrude on the kitchen and living area. If not, these areas could do with a spruce up.

Wij waren er tijdens de hittegolf in 2026, en zoals de meeste Ierse verblijven was er ook hier geen airco; het was een beetje warm op onze kamer.

Single bed I got was way too short for me. My legs were off rhe bed (I’m 191 cm tall). Room was tiny and basic. No mirror in the room, no wardrobe, nothing. I feel I got the worst room in this property as on the pictures I can see better rooms. Shower is too small, especially if you are tall person. Generally I got a feeling of suffication in the room and bathroom as there is almost no space to move around.
