Ruhige Unterkunft im Urwald mit wundervollem Ausblick und tollem Gastgeber
Pros:

Großartige und ruhige Lage mit Blick vom privaten Balkon auf den Urwald und tollem Sonnenaufgang. Nur die Geräusche der Natur umgeben einen. Der sehr nette Host Sajith weiß viel über die Gegend und die dortige Natur und hat uns sogar zu einem unserer Ausflüge begleitet. Die kleine Urwaldtour mit ihm ist absolut empfehlenswert. Er organisiert auch Aktivitäten wie die Gal Oya Boat Safari. Hierfür aber am Besten schon im Voraus Kontakt zu ihm aufnehmen, da es nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an Plätzen gibt und der Vorgang wohl nicht ganz einfach ist. Hervorragendes Essen durch den jungen Koch, insbesondere das Sri Lankische Essen sollte unbedingt versucht werden. Die Mahlzeiten können auch kurzfristig nach Belieben angepasst werden. Sajith ließ das Anwesen um ein Restaurant erweitern als wir dort waren. Von den Bauarbeiten haben wir aber überhaupt nichts mitbekommen und das neue Gebäude wird sicher eine tolle Ergänzung zu dem mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Hotel.

Cons:

Die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist anspruchsvoll, jedoch kann man vom Gastgeber mit seinem Geländewagen für die letzten Meter abgeholt werden. Es gibt aber auch Beweisfotos von normalen Autos auf dem Grundstück, also ist es wohl nicht unmöglich ;)

Not worth the drive or money
Pros:

Nice staff. Clean bed.

Cons:

It had a shabby wet room which made the bedroom smell very damp. Floor not clean. Electrical sockets right beside the shower. Breakfast was bad, cold and unappetising. We had to park our car in someone’s house and be driven by the owner in his 4x4 as the road was so bad to get there. We only stayed one night out of the two booked.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been
Pros:

Everything
It exceeded all our expectations the room was so cool.
This place has only been open 7 months and he has plans to build self contained units above the current property.
With only 3 rooms and a 6 bed apartment it's a lovely cozy place.
It's very remote and so peaceful.

Cons:

Some might find the access challenging as the road is narrow and winding and quite steep in places.
Our standard compact made it in and out fine but it may be unlawful nerving for some. However there are plans to improve the access and we could see where parts had already been renovated
