Would stay here again - we enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Location is great and walking distance to Times Square, The Hudson (both sides) and Central Park.
Hotel is lovely and clean and has individual AC
We were upgraded at no extra cost and high fives to Josh who was welcoming, friendly and helpful
Bathroom was modern and clean
There was no exterior noise from traffic

Cons:

The room was not soundproofed and we could occasionally hear neighbours
Breakfast was not great value - no toast or granola options and the fruit salad was melon only - all the berries were gone!

Best hotel experience I’ve had
Pros:

The hotel was firstly beautiful, the room was perfect, really clean and well designed. The location was amazing, it was my first time in New York and staying here made it so easy to get around the city. The staff are absolutely incredible, the most hospitable, friendly and accommodating people. They made the stay even better, my boyfriend and I were in NYC for our birthdays and everyone we interacted with at the hotel helped make the week really amazing for both of us. They took the time to give us recommendations and have conversations with us throughout the stay, I have never been made to feel as welcome as I did here.

Top Lage (sehr zentral & entsprechend geräuschvoll - in keiner Stadt wird so unnötig oft gehupt, wie in NY), Freundliches Personal, guter Service

Cons:

Die Preistransparenz: bis zur Abreise war für uns unklar, was wirklich alles auf der Rechnung steht. Wir hatten inkl. Frühstück gebucht, durften aber morgens immer eine Rechnung über ca. 132 Dollar abzeichnen. Das ist zum Abschluss alles irgendwie miteinander verrechnet worden. Das Gesamtpreis stimmt letztlich mit dem der Buchung über Booking überein.

great & prime location.

Cons:

we were there for New Year’s eve and there were no discounts given to guests that were already staying at the hotel to attend the New Year’s eve party that was taking place at the rooftop. we were quoted $2000 for a ticket which was ridiculous.

I like the room inside, was clean and comfortable, good location.

Cons:

I booked King Room with Empire View but the view was disappointing, also in the elevator before the doors closed, the elevator started dropping slightly in repeated movements of around 10 cm each. As a result, there was a noticeable gap between the elevator floor and the building floor. We were frightened and did not feel safe, so we exited the elevator immediately. TV was not working.
