Nicht schlimm, nur anders als erwartet: Es wurde uns freier Kaffee und Tee angekündigt. Im Zimmer gab es allerdings nur eine Kaffeemaschine, keinen Wasserkocher.
It was a beautiful setting-the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptionally helpful.
We found that the wifi did not work well in our room.

Es un sitio especial, muy tranquilo, con mucha variedad de pájaros que te alegran la estancia. Junto al volcán Turrialba y de camino hacia el Irazú, nos vino muy bien como punto intermedio viniendo de Cahuita hacia el aeropuerto al día siguiente. El personal muy agradable y el desayuno fenomenal. La zona en general merece la pena de verdad. Y la habitación limpia, cómoda y con unas vistas espectaculares.

Beautiful property with lots of gardens and many birds. The interior is also really pretty, and the views. The staff were really nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
The bed linens were thin and plastic-y, and the mattresses weren't that comfortable. No heating - it is cold at night in the mountains so expect that the temperature in the room to be pretty much like outside, same in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was not great as other commenters point out. However the location, gardens, and views made up for these inconveniences.
