Pros:

Room was really nice. Very modern and recently refurbished and dog friendly.

Cons:

Obviously, parking is not easy. And it's a shame that the Bar / pub is no longer open in the property.

A mixture of good and bad I'm afraid.
Pros:

I have to say the room was excellent. But my stay did not get off to a good start. I arrived at 4.00pm to book in and every where was locked up and the place was obviously empty. Tried ringing the number on the web site several times, no reply. Sent an email, no reply. I began to think I was not going to get a bed for the night! A lady in a nearby shop rang around a few people and eventually managed to contact the manager who arrived shortly afterwards. I never saw a soul after that first meeting, I was there for 3 nights. The room was very modern, clean and the bed was comfy but it was a very strange experience, It is a shame but I cannot recommend it.

Being locked out. no sign of any staff.

Decent value in a great location
Pros:

The location is fantastic in gthe centre of Harlech. The property was easy to access and very quiet. The bed was large and fairly comfortable and the bathroom was quite spacious with a nice high-pressured shower.

Cons:

The room wasn't terribly clean - it was superficially clear, but could do with a deep clean. Just cobwebs and the like. Also, the window didn't open, which wasn't ideal in the hot weather and without a fan in the room. No hand soap in the bathroom either.

Nice room but lack of support when needed was disapppinting. Saw no-one after checking in.
Pros:

Good central location and clean. Bed was comfortable and shower facilities excellent

Cons:

No sugar on arrival and insufficient milk and tea bags for a 5 night stay. Had to download the instruction manual to figure out how to switch on the radiator. Loo seat was loose. No car parking available.

Good value, clean comfortable room
Pros:

Clean room, good size, lots of tea and coffee. Big fluffy towels! Central location for Harlech Castle and centre. Staff answered questions quickly.

Good location. Small room
Pros:

Nice location very close to the castle. Kettle and tea/coffee in the room. The bathroom was quite modern and a decent size.

Cons:

We arrived shortly before 11pm on a Saturday night (check-in was 4-11pm) and had had a call earlier to say that the staff was leaving but would leave the keys out for us on top of the drawers, and on the question of how to find them we were just told 'you can't miss it!'. When we arrived the front door was locked and there were no keys anywhere. We tried to call various numbers but no one picked up. Went to the pub opposite to ask if they knew where the keys could have been hidden. Everyone in the pub was really friendly and tried to help. The pub owner called the owner of Harlech House and got through but he didn't know where the keys were either (and was away so couldn't come and help). In the end, another guest from Harlech House came into the pub and on hearing about the problems said that he had the keys to the front door, so he ended up letting us into the building and we then found our room keys inside. Had he not been there, we would not have had a place to stay the night.
The room was quite small, only had a small window just below the ceiling, and there were 5-10 moths flying around when we arrived.
