Ayatara Resort Ubud

Everything is absolutely stunning there. The hotel is brand new, and the design is very beautiful in any way. The staff is super helpful and professional. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, we especially loved the bathroom. The big plus thing we loved was the heated 40-meters pool which is something we really enjoyed. There are no words to describe the beauty of this hotel and we hope to be back again next time!

What truly makes this hotel special is the team. The staff seem to read every wish before you even say it. Whether it is small details or even offering help when you might need medical assistance, they always think one step ahead and genuinely care about your well being. This level of attentive and warm service is something you rarely experience.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed. Everything feels thoughtful and refined, creating a very special atmosphere and a relaxed yet elegant vibe. Considering that the hotel is only about one year old, everything still feels fresh, perfectly maintained and very well curated.
Normally we rarely eat in hotels because we often find better restaurants outside. Here it was the opposite. We ended up eating at the hotel every single day and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, presentation and overall experience.

During our stay we hardly left the hotel, except for a bike ride and a city walk with Usman. The complimentary bicycles are a great benefit. The welcome snacks and afternoon tea were delicious and the breakfast is prepared with real care and attention.

Another highlight was the heated pool, which we enjoyed a lot. And one detail that deserves special mention: out of the ten hotels we stayed at during our Bali trip, Ayatara had by far the most comfortable beds.

Overall this hotel combines great design, genuine hospitality and a wonderful atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.

Location. It was so quiet apart from the chittering and trilling of the jungle inhabitants, and the heated pool…wow!

The entire hotel was wonderful for us, as we had looked for a tranquil resort overlooking the jungle. It is in a very large, lush tropical garden setting, very well kept, with a wonderful pool and lot of choice of beautiful room/villa types. Everybody was really nice and proactively helpful. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. Just to let you know, orders sometimes may take a moment (as distances can be a bit larger in this beautiful spacious resort), but never too long and were never forgotten. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm hospitality and excellent service. We would like to mention Nyoman in particular, who represents the kindness of all staff. We would like to mention more staff personally (restaurant, bar, housekeeping and cleaning staff, maintenance staff, gardeners), but we do not know their names - hence I would suggest that management considers name tags for everybody working in the resort.

8. One who stays here must know that it rains most of the day and is 17 degrees Celsius at night and 24 degrees Celsius day (vs. 30 degrees that are 24/7 in Ubud) so this is cool for people who cannot bare hot weather :)

Staff and the serenity

For those seeking to escape the noise of life, this resort will be the perfect choice. It was a wonderful experience for solitude and self-reflection. The restaurant meals are excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The internet service may disappoint you a little, but overall, nature will more than make up for it.

We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. We chose Ayatara for our first trip as a married couple and picked a private villa with a pool, a decision we never regretted. We spent nearly two weeks here, and most of that time was happily spent at the resort itself.
The service was the best we've ever experienced, set against the most beautiful natural surroundings. It's the perfect place for anyone looking to escape a busy, stressful life and truly unwind. The food was exceptional, the cleanliness was pristine, and our room was bigger and better than the photos suggested, which is usually the opposite with hotels and resorts. We tried the massage and yoga, both of which were so good that going back to European standards will be difficult.
The restaurant menu was so extensive that we were still discovering new dishes after ten days. And the cocktails? Among the best we've had anywhere—London, Zurich, Paris, Copenhagen, New York, Chicago, or any other city where you'd expect to find a world class mixologist.
We genuinely couldn't find a single thing wrong with this place. The best holiday of our lives.

Ayatara Resort Ubud was such a peaceful place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. Surrounded by lush greenery and rice fields, the resort feels quiet and nicely tucked away.


The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with every wish and wants, which made us feel very welcome. The Food and restaurant was amazing we didn’t want to eat anywhere else.
We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and spending time by the pool just enjoying the calm atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, and we’d happily stay there again.

Everything! The staff the resort and it’s amazingly beautiful design , neat clean facilities. Obsessed with everything about it. I miss it terribly already! I Can’t wait to be back!

Thank you to Angga for the best spicy Margaritas! The entire day and night staff of the buggy rides, the reception the restaurant were incredible! Everyone was wonderful, especially Widia, Mila and Eny to name a few! The handwritten note from housekeeping on arrival is so special! Honestly if I could rate this 15/10 I would! The most beautiful and special place in the most humble and calm setting north of Ubud. Although a bit far from the town and bustle , that’s the part I enjoyed the most and easily accessible with hotel drivers or a grab :) The incredible and kind driver who fetched me and ensured I was safe with my family in Ubud city.
