Pros:

The location is perfect and very convenient. It’s very close to the lake, although there is no lake view from the property. It’s also very close to Udawalawe National Park and the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, making it a great location for visiting the area.

Cons:

There is no private parking available at the property, but there is plenty of street parking nearby. The entrance to the accommodation is through the restaurant area, which is not very well organised, and there is no dedicated guest reception or welcome lounge for large groups. However, the staff do their best to welcome guests and make them feel comfortable.

Personally, I feel the restaurant food is not quite value for money. The food is good, although not exceptional. However, the restaurant has a nice, clean and pleasant environment, which makes dining there enjoyable.

Das Hotel ist völlig ok mit Pool, es ist sehr sehr gut gelegen, direkt gegenüber der Baby Elefanten Station- da waren wir dann zur Fütterung, das war sehr nett!

Amazing staff
Pros:

Amazing staff. All very friendly. Great location. Got a breakfast box before going on safari nearby but when back they insisted we have a proper breakfast even though breakfast time had just finished

Udalawawe stay
Pros:

Staff were nice and we were really close to the park. Room was big and spacious
