Le soir, l'ambiance est magique !
C'est le lieu idéal si vous suivez un workshop dans l'un des ateliers de Norbu Lingka, mais c'est également un choix de qualité pour visiter les alentours (prendre un taxi ou tuktuk). Le temple de Gyuto se situe à 30 minutes à pied.

Il y a un restaurant et un café (qui fait quelques pâtisseries et des repas simples le midi) sur place.

Beautiful Traditional Tibetan style rooms aesthetically decorated. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast..

The peaceful ambiance and the monastery on campus were the highlights, lush green, kind staff, variety of tries, flowers and fruits, the workshops were a delight to walk through and the gift shop was also wonderful. The rooms were really great for the price, while the bathrooms were very basic, but clean and comfortable.

Norbulingka institute campus was the most peaceful and tranquil place to stay...away from the crowds but has enough to do and see within. The food at the café and restaurant are good. The monastry is beautiful. The rooms are very comfy but the washrooms are basic...very very clean though.

Peaceful location in a lovely garden

As soon as I arrived I felt relaxed. The grounds are so peaceful and in a beautiful garden setting. This hotel is attached to the Norbulingka Institute which I loved. I joined a tour where you can see the artists creating different works which was fascinating. During the days I explored Dharamsala and Mcleodganj and was always happy to return to this quiet oasis. The restaurant food is excellent. I think I read some reviews that didn't favor the food, maybe they have changed the menu but I had almost everything on there and I promise that the dishes are a good portion and very good! I could have stayed here for longer than the 5 days. As an American tourist I was slightly hesitant to drink the fresh juice but did so without any issues. I was in the fish room, each room is designated by an animal, how cool is that! Staff is helpful and present. Yes there are some power outages but they are resolved quickly and other 4 star hotels in India I stayed in also had power outs. Not a big deal, just wait it through. Wi-Fi is good. Also, the items in their shop are quality. Help yourself and the institute and buy something that will last. I will only stay here in the future.
